I love the look of this stapler, and was excited to have what I assumed would be a great stapler (for the cost). But I had to have someone who was visiting help me load it with staples, and even he was challenged. Now that he's gone home I cannot figure out how to do it. It's just too much of a hassle to deal with this stapler!

This is the desktop stapler to get. Sure, there's the fancier El Casco one from Spain (with spotty reviews), but the Zenith 520 is my preference. Its understated and industrial post war Italian design never goes out of style. The unit is smaller than you might think as well. It takes up very literal desk space.The Amazon listing also doesn't detail the three stapling closure options on the Zenith. The plate can easily be moved from underneath to right, centre, and left positions allowing for three different fastening styles: legs out (easily removable), legs both in (standard "permanent" closure), and legs both facing the same direction (another more easily removable option). The staples included should last a long while and are heavier duty than most found in office supplies shops.To nitpick: I'd like to be able to load more than 50 staples at a time and small indents are left on either side of the staple after used, clearly left by the mechanism. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of.The price point is high for a stapler, but it's one to leave on your desk and admire.
