From the first day, the experience is great. I use it to back up the entire hard drive weekly with Time Machine on my Mac. It is easy to format, and the computer can recognize the full capacity. There is no problem with computer reading and writing. I can back up my entire computer with a thumb drive, which gives me peace of mind, so I don’t have to pay for cloud storage. I have purchased similar products before, but I am very disappointed with the performance. The compact size makes my work space no longer cluttered by large-capacity hard drives. The price of capacity is considerable.

This flash drive is all you need to store 1TB worth of stuff! As soon as I got it I transferred ALL of my photos to it from my phone (over 6,000 images) so I could clear up some space on my phone. The flash drive itself comes in easy to open packaging and is small enough that doesn’t require a ton of room. It fits perfectly in the desk drawer and hooks directly into the USB port. I highly recommend this product as it certainly surpasses any other flash drive I’ve purchased previously!

I have been trying to find something to store GoPro video files taken at my daughter's softball tournaments. When filming a game, GoPro breaks the game into 2.2 gig MP4 files. Depending upon the resolution, an hour results in about 12 gig of videos. I needed a place to store all of these. I bought 2 of these flash drives based upon ratings. At first they seemed fine and I copied 40 gig of videos to each of the flash drives. Later I went back to the drives and found that some of the files were fine but many of the files when you try to play them it says it is corrupted. This happened on both drives and different files. I tried to format the drives for both ExFat and NTFS with all different allocation unit sizes, and the same thing would happen. Almost like there are random bad spots on the drives. I tried many different copy and backup programs and the ones that would then verify the copies would fail with a hash mismatch error. Ended up returning both of these. Storing large video files on flash drive seems to be a problem that lots of people hit. My next try, I just ordered a backup hard drive to see if that will work.

This has a sleek design and unbelievably large storage capacity. I really appreciate how this is lanyard friendly because it comes with an eyelet. This is nice and compact, and fulfills all of the standard expectations that'd come with purchasing a USB drive.

Price is good for the storage you get. However, it does not use a USB 3.0 therefore transfers are quite slow. If you would like to transfer smaller files then its fine. If you have large file, it can take a while. So it all depends on your use case.

So far so good. I’ve been able to add so many folders to this one drive! I love the space it frees up in my computer and to have them all on ONE drive. Storage was the motivator for this purchase and it did not disappoint.

Good quality product in a safe pack. Its fast and has tons of space to store pictures, videos and documents. A very economical and secure way to safe your files without paying money for cloud storage services! Highly recommended!!

I have a large digital movie collection that I was hoping to be able to ferry from place to place on a single thumb drive rather than just relying on the Cloud. I will have to keep searching, because this ain't it Chief. File transfer speeds are acceptable for the price, but the so-called "terabyte" of storage is more like 64gb, covered up with some halfway clever formatting tricks to make your computer read it as a terabyte drive. But, since it's lying about its true capacity, files don't actually transfer properly -- each video file read as "0 bytes on disk" after I'd spent all day transferring them and the "Disk Properties" tab showed capacity filled as it should be. The files themselves don't even open. I was a teensy bit desperate for a storage solution, so I didn't listen to my instincts: what this USB drive was offering was too good a deal to be true. It IS too good a deal to be true. Don't believe a word this product promises, and treat positive reviews with all due suspicion. It's a scam.
