WI-Fi connectivity issue solved.
I had a problem connecting my pool equipment controller to my home internet via wi-fi, The signal had to pass through a concrete wall and the signal was to weak to connect. I bought a pair of the tp-link AV1000 extenders to connect the controller antenna via my house electrical wiring to my modem/router. I was concerned that the two ends might not be on the same circuit as they were far apart and only connected by the master circuit box. However, they connected immediately and are working perfectly. Truly plug-and-play.

Good for a wired solution
Keep in mind that any powerline adapter is ETHERNET ONLY. You cannot use a powerline adapter to extend your wifi or mesh. This is really good for somebody who really really needs a wired Ethernet connection but is too far from the router and doesn’t want to run a 100 plus foot cable onto the wall/floor and around things with a possible signal loss due to cable length.Disclaimer: Our ISP is coaxial only. We can’t get fiber at our house and cable is the next best option. My review is based on that type of connection. Here’s how it worked for me: I also ordered a couple of cat8 Ethernet cables (overkill maybe but I want the best speed and latency possible at any given time no compromises and the cat8’s were about 5 bucks each so why not go all in?) and this system. They also came with their own Ethernet cables I had no idea they would but the stock ones I’m not using.I was surprised to find that it actually worked on its own without any paring needed. At first I had the router end plugged into the far corner of the living room on its own outlet but that one was too far and the speed was pretty low. I moved it to a busier outlet that was a bit closer to my room from the living room and still managed to get it plugged in on its own and the speed jumped right back up.The other end goes to my console, and while my in-game performance was doing pretty well over wifi, there would be occasional spikes. This seems to have eliminated that but at first when i had it on the far outlet the latency seemed much much worse than wifi.In game latency at first setup jumped from 32 (over wifi) to over 70-80 with this system but then after a few days it came back down. I also do remote play sometimes so this helps a little on the sending end with stability. The consoles NATIVE speed test now shows around 28-36ms ping (I was getting that over wifi too) and about 40 or so in game. Interesting enough my in-game used to stay around 30 or so but those spikes seem to be gone so the extra 8-10 loss in my game doesn’t feel too big for the better stability that I now have. I thought this might just be a server issue but I use the same server as I did before and it’s just a little higher not noticeably.Keep in mind you HAVE to plug both adapters directly into an outlet no matter what for these to be effective. Absolutely no surge protectors or extension cords or none of that.Overall this works good for me, it fixed most of what I needed it to, and provides a wired Ethernet connection without being close to the router as I’m unable to anyway. Speeds remain the same as before though no change.

These work *good*, if you are patient setting them up. Especially if you have no IT skills.
Here are some shortcuts how to get this to work. I have years experience, free advice is priceless. :-)Let's get the really bad out of the way. There has NOT been a firmware update on these since 2019 when they were released? Jawdrop especially to patch bugs. It earns it 1 star for Tech Support and - 1 star total overall. There is NO reason for this. At. All.My scenario is: My home has a detached garage at the end of my backyard. There was absolutely no scenario to run CAT cable from the house as the main router is in the front of the house. Also no way to use a wireless repeater to extend the signal as it is too far and I have a ton of RF noise around me. I set on Ethernet over power line. Here is the key to get these to work. a) Get familiar with your fuse box. There are 2 sides. Certain outlets are on one "side". Other ones are on the other "side". You have make sure BOTH devices are on outlets on the "same side". WILL NOT WORK if you do not follow this. b) No power strip. Has to be IN the wall jack itself. c) Go DL the tpPLC app from their website, so you can see the connection speed rate. (Mandatory, you need this. Works on Mac and WIN). d) Go to where you ^really^ need to have the ethernet connection at. Plug in. e) Now, go try the other device on the other side, at the other outlet (for me it was my router). The connection was < 30Mbps. Horrific when I am running a Gigabit network and Internet feed. Go to each outlet you can and keep plugging in until you get a strong connection.I finally found an outlet in the house that varies between 450Mbps to 575Mbps. You will not get a steady signal, as power lines are dirty with noise and it will vary along with network traffic. At this speed, it is amazing for me. Never drops out aka no signal. The only down side? The router was not in the room where I got the highest speed, so I had to lay a short Ethernet run between 2 room so I can hookup from the wall jack to the router. For me, better than running Ethernet to the garage. Also the only solution for me.Is it for you? If you have no patience or no patience & no technical skills, or no one to do it for you, probably not.

Very Easy Setup - Works GREAT!
So happy! This was the easiest installation I ever made - literally took it out of the box, plugged it into the wall, checked my settings, and BAM! Works great!I am using this product is to extend my LAN to accommodate my home alarm system, just FYI. I haven't tested it out in a bandwidth-hungry scenario, but it's perfect for a quick and easy extension.

Used on my solar system!
This works great on my 10 year old sunpower solar system as a go between for solar readings on the app. Just plug in and sync both of them, its that easy. The cost is average, range is decent, one is in the garage and the other is on the 2nd floor of the house and has no issue connecting.

Great Great alternative to network cables fir super clean setup.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Work really great. I used to add another wifi router closer to my garage. Allows me to have wifi in garage fir Roku TV and computers for laser engravers and cnc engraver. Perfect if you don't want to rob network cables and deal with those headaches. I will get another and see if it works all the way out in my detached garage. But I think it will. Not 100% positive on that but about 95% based on how easy it was to set up so far and what I know about my electrical setup.Connectivity:Wired network capability without running network cable.
