TALON Grips for Heckler & Koch VP9/VP40

Excellent Material for an aggressive grip, specially for sweaty, bloody or dirty hands (Tactical Use). It could be a little but aggressive for some people but it works excellent mainly on hard outdoor use. Things to have in consideration is that you need to be aware of your clothing close to the material (shirts, vest or pants) because it could damage the finish of the clothing if it get stuck or rubbed on them. The material of the product it holds well but with time it will needed to be replaced, specially on the areas that has been handled constantly.Overall I like it a lot, inexpensive and do the job well. I recommend it

Very rough texture, gives me a nice grip

Installed fine grit type grips on my hkvp9. Installation took 18 minutes, with no issues. I took it to the range and shot 200 rounds and the grips are perfect. I controlled my recoil much better, and my groupings was the best I have shot. Simple product but well worth it.

Fit well as all Talon products. This is the first rough skateboard tape style I purchased (I usually get the rubber texture) and it grips the hand exceptionally well. Only down side is if you plan to carry concealed under a fleece type material the grips tend to cling to the fibers.

I have owned a handful of modified pistols and have experience with several types of stippling. Trust me when I tell you, Talon grips are better than stippling. I'll be buying these for a few other pistols.

Easy to install. Provided great instructions. I used my wife’s hair dryer to get the grip a little warm and the rest is history! Worth the money spent.

So for this one, fitting it on the vp9 took about 10 minutes total. The one issue with this particular grip is if you interchange the pieces and you order a particular size, it may take some patience in applying it. Once applied, I think it helps with more positive grip control because it's a bit rough and it just feels better compared to the polymer. I got the sandpaper grip and applied brand new it is a bit rough but after some use it will smooth down.**Update** if you decide to go with the sandpaper grips, over time the grips become less textured. Just like sandpaper wearing down when used to sand something. I don't think the rubber ones would not have this problem and the adhesive wearing down would be the only issue. Overall, either grip choice is good and personal preference is necessary.
