PeruginaSorrento Spicchi Hard Candies (1lb Bag Includes Tangerine, Lemon, and Orange Flavors)

I discovered these candies at an Italian restaurant and have been hooked on them ever since, they are awesomely, delicious,BUT you have to be really careful how you eat them! You simply cannot bite into them, they have to dissolve in your mouth! If you do make that mistake and I made that many times in the beginning, you have to just be patient until your saliva melts it enough that you can open your mouth or start swishing water in your mouth… but as I said they are DELICIOUS,!!

The candies are individually wrapped, as shown, and shaped like small segments of citrus fruit. The authentic fruit flavors are absolutely delicious, and not too sweet, unlike many American fruit-flavored hard candies. Perfect citrus taste! Addicting and always disappear from my candy bowl in a flash! A family favorite, and enjoyed by all, including by all celiac members of the family. Glad to have found these! Have re-ordered several times now and also given as gifts.

I’ve loved the Spicci citrus candies ever since I discovered them at a work meeting held in a Mariott hotel. The hard candies had a translucent appearance in the shape of an orange slice and had a wonderfully crisp citrus flavor….…… these delivered by Florida Supply and Cleaning Products were downright disgusting. The candies were mushy and soft and stuck to their wrappers. Clearly, they were left out in the hot humid Florida weather for far too long and absorbed a lot of moisture. If these candies are being sold by a cleaning company, I wouldn’t be surprised if they may be selling the leftover candies scavenged from hotels that hosted events. Certainly could make sense since my candies came soggy and in an unsealed plastic bag.It’s really too bad. When fresh, these candies are absolutely delightful. I can’t return these candies so I hope my review can be helpful in preventing someone else from getting soggy candy from a cleaning supply company.

I grew up eating these candies in Chicago they were always a gift from the shop owner on Roosevelt rd I loved visiting this deli.... barrels of candies, coffees and if I recall olives. Just thinking back I would know the smell of the store anywhere. Anyways the candies are just a reminder of being a kid it was just seeing the wrapper that did it for me....the candies sort of taste the same but as time goes on we know how companies change ingredients here and there. Enjoy anyways

Good imported candy. Delicious, a little pricey

I love these and ordered them after trying them at a Marriott Hotel conference. I have never had hard candy that tastes this good. The flavors are true to their description -- high quality and obviously made from real sugar. My husband tried one when they arrived yesterday, and although he does not like hard candy, he said "this tastes exactly like a tangerine," and enjoyed it. I almost did not order them because I seldom eat sugar, but I knew these would be worth it and they are. I also wanted them for guests. The packaging was tight and secure. I am happy with this seller because the seller wants me to be happy with the product. I will order again soon because for a while they were not available.

Candy looks like it was stored in direct sunlight at some point. Candy has been melted at some point and is hard to unwrap because wrapper sticks to candy. When you come across a good one (not melted) they are actually good, wish all of them were like that. 90% of the candy ruined to having been melted at some point.

Taste is great
