There are several things I didn't like about this waffle iron, so I'm returning it. I had hesitations after reading the user guide, but decided to give it a chance.1) like other reviews have mentioned, the plates are very difficult to attach. Seriously, a huge time waster.2) the instructions themselves say to toss out your 1st waffle as it will absorb substances from the metal plates. I did this, but it made me feel very uneasy about eating/serving next batch.3) either the instructions are backward or my machine is wired wrong. The instructions say green light indicates it is done preheating and ready. My unit was green once plugged in and the green light turned off when hot. The only way to know if waffle is done is to open and see.There were a few things I liked such as size and removable plates, buy the cons outweigh the pros.Tip, if you do get this, turn the unit upside down and pour your batter into the "top" plates. Then flip right side up and allow to cook. This makes a better waffle and this way you're still able to see the light indicator if you're using that.

Nice fluffy waffles for a midnight snack! I was trying to find one that cost less, but the temp control and quality of the machine is WELL worth it! Cooked on "3" for 5 min. Top and bottom browned evenly and quickly! I'm VERY impressed! 😀😋

It is an amazing product. All three sets of plates are easy to use, uninstall, and clean. The price is reasonable. I used it to make sandwiches, panini, grill bbq, waffle, pancake and vegetable egg cake. It heats fast and cooks food within minutes. If you have Keto diet, this item is a great helper.

The first one that came had a crack and a chunk missing off the side . No fault of Amazon or shipping. It wasn't a return. I believe the factory boxed it that way sadly.Amazon was awesome and sent out another one right away. I have only used the waffle plates so far. I bought this one because i like the fact the plates come off to wash and also because you have 3 types of plates with then i don't need my old sandwich maker anymore. I now understand why the more expensive ones have the flip on them. With this one the top of the waffle doesn't get as dark as the bottom, so i just flip the waffle and cook for another minute. Only used it twice so far so good.

I use this mostly for waffles, and it does an excellent job. I've made sandwiches a couple times, and also use the grill plates to make hot dogs.If you only need to make a couple waffles or sandwiches at a time, I can recommend this. It's fine for my use.I like that the plates come out for easy cleaning. I had a little trouble inserting the plates correctly until I realized that there is a slight tab on the plates that has to be under a corresponding part of the unit, or it won't close properly.Overall, a good product.

I love it it’s convenient easy to clean and easy to store for it’s size. Just one down side the bottom is heating better than the top, mostly I used it for waffles and sandwiches but it’s not bad kids love it, other than that it’s perfect.

I like this waffle maker, because it gives me many options (waffle, panini and griddle) plus it has easily removable plates that can be washed. However, the top element seems to not be heating up as well as the bottom one. Maybe I didn't get the top plate in correctly. Otherwise, I love this appliance.
