Tokio Hotel is a pop rock band from Germany. Founded in 2001 by singer Bill Kaulitz, guitarist Tom Kaulitz, drummer Gustav Schdfer and bassist Georg Listing. The quartet have scored four number one singles and have released three number one albums in their native country, selling nearly 5 million CDs and DVDs there. The new BEST OF, 3 disc set by Tokio Hotel features all of their best tracks + 2 previously unreleased songs - the first song the band ever recorded professionally in a recording studio in 2003 and has never been on any of their previous releases: "Madchen aus dem All" ("Girl from Outer space") and "Hurricanes and Suns" recorded on 2009.

A TOKIO HOTEL CELEBRATION!!!
Some people have questioned whether a band as young as Tokio Hotel should be putting out a "Best Of" collection so early in their career. The truth is, this group, though the members are only in their early twenties, has been together for a decade and has already created more than enough outstanding music to fill several such albums. This "Best Of" compilation is so chockfull of incredible songs, it's hard to single any out, but some personal favs are Monsoon, Don't Jump, Scream, and Rescue Me (from Scream) and World Behind My Wall, Noise, Forever Now, and Humanoid (from Humanoid). Also included are two recordings not previously released - Mädchen aus dem All, a bouncy pre-Bill's voice change romp (this uses the same theme as the song they did under the name Devilish, Schönes Mädchen aus dem All, but has a different melody and lyrics), and Hurricanes and Suns, an epic rock anthem from 2009 which I regard as an instant TH classic (how this one didn't get on the Humanoid album I'll never know!). If you are tired of the shallow, sophomoric pop babble that typifies so much of today's music and are looking for something a bit more substantial and enriching, this is the perfect opportunity to introduce yourself to Tokio Hotel, the masters of meaningful and relatable lyrics. (Plus, there's always the added pleasure of hearing lead vocalist Bill Kaulitz sing those lyrics with passion and sincerity that are second to none.) And of course, fans will need to have this for the German song versions (not so easy to obtain here in the US) and video collection. You just can't go wrong with buying this product!

I LOVE TOKIO HOTEL!!
This album was great! I absolutely love it. I like the fact that it has old and new Tokio Hotel songs. and the dvd features 18 videos all great ones. I may not know all the songs in German but the German CD was still really fun to listen to. I liked watching the making of the videos very much! It features a making of Automatic, Schrei, the making of Monsoon is a T.H TV episode,Ubers Ende der Welt, World Behind My Wall, and the making of Spring Nicht. I will forewarn you the making of Schrei, Spring Nicht, Ubers Ende Der Welt, and Automatic are in German and DO NOT have English subtitles. It was still very entertaining to watch because you will never find the making of those videos anywhere on the Internet. The making of World Behind My Wall is very short but, its funny becase Bill and Tom say funny things in the short time the video lasts. I stongly recommend this album to any Tokio Hotel lover, fan, or admirer!!! I LOVE TOKIO HOTEL<3

Absolutely Amazing!
I absolutely LOVE Tokio Hotel. I feel that they are the best band in the world. They are unique in both sound and look and, to me, are the perfect band for me. They will forever be my favorite band. I recommend them to pretty much everyone. They have inspired me to pick up my guitar again, as well as be more willing to be myself. They have helped me open up about who I am, and have in turn made me more honest to myself. They are truly an inspiring band. After WWII, Germany was treated like the dirt under the shoes of the world. The poor country got loaded with all the taxes and fees of the world's destruction from the war, and many had very bad views of it. Who knew that it's musical saviors would be born a few years after the Berlin Wall fell, and join together to create one of the biggest bands in the world as well as the best thing to come out of Germany since the VW automobile? :D

Perfect all around...to a point?
First off I'd like to say that if you are a Tokio Hotel uber-fan then you should buy this set for your collection. I pre-ordered this a month before it was released becuase I was so excited about it. I love the packaging. There are several kind of new pictures of the band and a nice insert. It comes with an english cd, a german one and a dvd of their videos. The German versions of their songs alone is a reason to purchase this. Living in the States makes it hard to get a hold of these songs. My only complaints about it are as follows:1. The dvd is not widescreen. It's 4:3 standard, while most of their videos are shot for widescreen. This causes ugly black bars around the videos and they are very small on my widescreen TV.2. It comes with making of videos, which made me excited, but not all of them are subtitled. I found this odd for a US release. Also the making of Automatic was orginally on THTV with subs, but on the dvd there are no subs?Overrall it's a really good buy for any TH fan wanting to add to their collection.

Great Value, A Must Buy for TH Fans
I'm a new fan of Tokio Hotel and this is the first CD of theirs that I've purchased. What is unique about this set is that it includes one CD in English and one in German. The songs are the same basically, but not the order. Also, the German version of Phantomrider features a German female singer singing part of the chorus. I really liked the DVD that has Tokio Hotel music videos in German and English. This is mainly why I purchased this set so that I can see all the videos instead of hunting around on YouTube. The DVD also has "behind the scenes" when the band was making the videos, but it's in German. I watched it anyway and laughed a lot because I don't know what they're talking about.I recommend this for both die-hard Tokio Hotel fans who have learned to speak German and also newbies like me.
