Works Great
Great little USB-C to HDMI dongle for connecting to HDMI displays/monitors. I have used this to:1. connect my iPad Pro to external displays for use as a mirrored display, and to play protected content on much larger display screens.2. connect my iOS devices to my car’s display via a CarMate wire CarPlay dongleBoth uses work well and there is no noticeable lag and the picture quality is very good.As others have noted, you need to have the proper connection sequence to ensure you get it working. You need to connect the dongle on the USB-C side, then attach the HDMI side. Or it might the reverse.

Does NOT do 4K120Hz on Mac M2 Pro!!!
This will NOT work to output 4K120 from a 2023 Mac mini M2 Pro - and assume it won't work on any other Apple / Mac model (like the MacBook Pro) with the M1 or M2 chips either... despite Belkin specifically saying it's "certified" for "Mac"...When I run my Mac mini directly (i.e. NOT using the Belkin adapter) to my 4K120 compatible monitor via HDMI to HDMI cable, I DO get proper 4K120. This shows that BOTH my computer, my monitor, and the cable I'm using are compatible with 4K120......BUT as soon as I try the same thing with the Belkin adapter, with the SAME exact computer/monitor/cable, it maxes out as 4K60 - this proves the Belkin adapter doesn't work as advertised (on a Mac at least).I will give it one thing though: it DOES at least do 4K60 WITH HDR (which many other adapters won't do HDR at 4K60, just plain non-HDR 4K60)... but there's WAY cheaper adapters which can do that, and I specifically bought this one for higher resolutions like 4K120 (and above), so it's still a fail.

does not heat up on Mac
this is the product you can find on Apple's website. I needed to plug in HDMI for monitor. prior products overheated that side of keyboard. this does not heat up hardly at all. its a keeper.

Gets the job done
I bought this to use for my Lenovo Yoga laptop to hook up with monitor. Opted to go with reputable brand like Belkin to make sure the ports to my computer don’t get ruined and the connection is stable. Worked straight out of the box. It looks nice, glossy black. I wish it felt a bit sturdier as the casing feels like cheap plastic.

Try plugging in the power, THEN the video.
To make this dongle do both power and video for my phone (Razer Phone 1), I have to plug in the power first, THEN plug in the video.- If I plug the dongle into my phone with both cables already connected, neither video nor charging work.- If I plug either video alone or power alone, the single feature works.- If I plug in video first and THEN power, the video cuts off after I plug in the power, and then neither video nor charging work.- If I plug in power first and THEN video, both work. But the HDMI connector is a big, tight, chonky thing, so it really sucks having to plug/unplug it while the other two delicate USB-C connectors are sticking out. It'd be massively nicer if I could just leave both the power and video cables always connected to the dongle, and just plug/unplug the dongle from my phone. (Maybe that's how it works with newer phones?)It probably depends on the device. With my Chrometablet, I can plug the dongle in with both cables connected and the video will work, but the charging never works, not even when plugged in alone. (The OS pops up a warning about unreliable charging, and the battery still goes down as I use it.)

Works as advertised
I had a mini-PC that did not have HDMI-out, but then a screen with only VGA and HDMI-in. This display-port to HDMI converter made it all work. The scaling of the screen is fine and there is no noticeable delay.
