SIS tend to be the go to gels in our household for long runs. Myself and my husband use them and they keep us both going. He has done a few half marathons using these and really rates them. I use them for my big runs too.They do a variety of flavours, on this occasion we purchased the lemon and lime (as they are my favourite) but they do lots of others too.They are quite pricey but Amazon do regular deals so I tend to check and order when they're reduced.Low sugar content which is good. I like the texture as it's slightly thicker than water, it's more of a gel based consistency which is what I prefer.

Cheapest way to buy the gels. My preferred flavour. High quality product which works for me for 5/10/HM distance.

Good effect but texture is hit and miss
This is a great quality product that I've used for years and years. Flavours are massive now, such a variety, with newly added Cherry and Tutti fruitti.My only gripe is that some of the pouches can be lumpy and have a horrible texture, whilst others are smooth. But it doesn't stop me buying them, but would be nice if they were all just smooth.

Love Sis gels, never have any problems.I've switched to Beta fuel now as need more carbs for the distances I'm doing now but these were absolutely brilliant for my previous training. Never had GI issues, fine from the first use. Taste is not the most amazing but will get used to it over time.

Gentle on the tummy
SIS gels are a bit thicker than some others, but I really like this flavour, the citrus perks me up. There can be a bit fiddly to open, particularly if you've got sweaty hands, but with a bit of practice, they are absolutely fine. They work really well for me

Anything more than a half hour stroll and these will keep you in the best shape mentally and physically.. great product..

Good value & reliable calories
Good value compared to the more “premium” brands.I’ve been using SIS products for 25+yrs and find it easy on my gut.Simple packaging which sometimes is a bit slippery when trying to open after a long time running, plus having a retaining element on the top would be good. Stopping to pick up the tab is a pain if it falls.I find I don’t need to drink with them and for very long events real food is needed but these are a solid and reliable back up that fits easily in my pockets.
