Good looking. Quality assembly. Can 'hold" a 2.5" coin, but cut opening is 1.75" and perfect for many challenge coins or something like a silver dollar in an air-tite case. Well worth the money. Again, it is wood-stained and looks first-rate, not painted.

I bought my husband a coin of the Raising of the Flag on Iwo Jima during WWII. He had an uncle who was part of the Flag Raising, so I knew the coin would be special to him. After I gave it to him, I realized I needed something to display the coin. I found this box on Amazon. It holds one coin and the coin fit perfectly. When the glass is closed, it still shows all of the detail of the coin. I am very happy with the product. We keep it displayed on our mantle.

I use it to display one of my 1oz gold coins. The case works fine for smaller coins; they just won't fit snugly in the foam indentation.
