Fit perfectly and has been working silently.

Installed on LG LSC26905TT fridge. Initially noticed side of fridge was heating up really bad to the point of what it seemed melted insulation slowly seeping out of panel edges. After removing the motor, found the same brand (Oh Sung) on Amazon for half the price from LG or any other appliance stores. About to check out when I saw this with same specs for even more less price. Took a chance and it paid off. Works just as good and no more hot side panels and fridge no longer struggling to keep internal temp. Of note though, the fan shaft is slightly shorter than OEM but not enough to cause issue with the operation, can't remember how short but somewhere around 1/4 inch shorter.

The cooling fan has been going out for a while on our LG fridge. It would make a squeaking noise and eventually I noticed the door seal started to get really hot. A repair person would have charged me a lot more money for the fix so I did a bit of research and found the replacement part. The cost is only 20 bucks and a little bit of time and labor. The fan is a bit of a pain to get out of the housing but if you take your time you can do it. The fridge is running nice and cool and the door seals are no longer hot. Well see how long this fan lasts for but for 20 bucks I am not going to complain if it only last a couple of years.

Motor was rough to spin by hand right out of the box. I installed it anyways, which was a mistake. It would not even spin when it was when voltage was supplied. I got it to start spinning with a little assist, but it stopped a few seconds latter. I cleaned and lubed the original motor and reinstalled it. This one is going back and no one should waste there money on these. Even if it would have ran i bet it would not have lasted long. I will be looking for another one.

I was about to buy a new refrigerator because the motor was doing very bad noise. The Refrigerator was 16 years old a good LG. Now after 6 months the ref is working like new. Just for $30

These replacement fan units work, but they only last for about 2-3 years. Purchased in 2018, 2022, then again in 2025 (just placed the order - current fan had stopped spinning). On the plus side, they are relatively affordable, and I got fast shipping via Amazon so I could replace it quickly. I paid a bit more this time than previous times, but when you need a part, you need it.
