You get what you pay for
I once again fell into the trap of buying a ‘bargain’ item on Amazon, at a price that really isn’t achievable/sustainable. Unfortunately, I have learned again that you get what you pay for, and not to trust many of the reviews. To be fair to the producers of this remote control car, it wasn’t particularly expensive and my 2 young children enjoyed playing with it for a couple of days. But then things start going wrong: the battery only lasts for 5-10 mins of use, the wheels get out of line so it never goes in a straight line, the body of the car cracks on impact with a wall etc etc. Yes, at this price we could just accept that that’s what you’re paying for and just buy a new one next year. But I don’t think this approach is sustainable. Buying cheap electronics from countries that employ different standards (for their workers, for the environment and to the quality of the products) is not a sustainable approach to consumption and I think I have realised for the last time that I need to get off the bandwagon of buying items online that are simply to good to be true.

Good Car | Review
The car is decent for the price.Remote: The Remote Control feels cheap. You can only go full lock. So, if you want to turn left, right, or accelerate/slow down, it will be full meaning you can't choose the speed or, the turn a chosen amount.Battery: The battery life is good and can make the car last for a good session. No issues/complains about that.Easy To Use: The car is easy to use. Very user friendly.

Good quality car for a 9 year old
Bought this for 9 year old nephew. Chose amongst hundreds and chose this because of the metal body - not plastic. It is as thin as beer can metal but very nicely finished and sturdy. Good bumpers and the suspension was praised by those in the know ;-) Battery last maybe 20 minutes and comes with a USB charger. My only quibble is that the battery has to be removed to charge. Would be handy if there was a socket for the charger to be connected straight to the car. The result is that you don't use the screw to secure the battery flap as intended by toy standards. So far he has been using it every day so I think it was a winner.

Great car
Great rc car. The rear wheel drive is fun as it allows drifting and doughnuts on wet floors. My 4 year old manages to use the controls with not many problems. Not ideal indoors as it is quite quick and fast reactions are required to not crash into things which my kids have not quite mastered yet. The wheel on the remote could be slightly more robust as it can be easily twisted beyond it's intended use. I think it may be slightly damaged but being slightly more delicate seems to do the job and we can steer the car correctly. The battery life is pretty good for the price and does not take that long to charge. Would buy again.

Size speed battery life
I would not recommend this item. The charge last 5minutes, the hand set is poorly made and the signal to the car even on a full charge both car and controller keeps cutting out. When you give it full power it seems to stick on the N/S/F and just spin. It's a very small car.

Wrong speed.
In the discription, the speed of this car says 20mph but it's more like 20kph and that's the difference.

Value for money
