Pana-Scan EasyScan Portable Document & Image Scanner

Very strange... When I bought this item it had a good rating. Now that I'm having problems i.e.: (hard to scan and hardware is not recognizing any mini-disc) there is no reviews. I wish I would have waited. There seems to be more diversity in mobile scanners even QVC.Good luck on your research.

I admit that I don't have much experience with many hand-held document scanners. but compared to the two Docupen scanners that I had previously that are sitting at the bottom of my junk drawer, this scanner is great.- User interface is simple and easy to use.- It's is easy to hold and manipulate when scanning (which is a BIG plus).- Tracks pages well; doesn't slip or skew on glossy pages or large photos.- Scans meet quality specs.- Uses AA batteries, which are always around the house.- Uses readily available memory cards.- Image transfer is simple; no need for proprietary software such as with the Docupen.- Case is robust, especially compared to the Docupen.I've used this for a couple years now, and it was a good investment. If I could have one thing added to it, I would: something to cover the rollers and sensor for protection when it's out of its bag.
