Don’t bother with anything else.
I race Supermoto and this device is the bomb! No more messing around, trying to engage the device reaching over the bars, or using your heal, or having to have someone else set it for you. So easy and trouble free!

Not as easy to install as advertised but not all that bad. Works like a charm. Very easy to engage

Inferior to other devices. Junk.
Installed device correctly, kept it clean, WD40 and cleaned before every moto, and it still stuck and ripped out of my fork guard. I had 6 gate drops out of it before the $150 device became a part of RedBud. Went back to Works Connection and haven't had any issues at all. Pro Taper customer service also never responded to my 3 separate emails. The idea for a self engaging holeshot device is awesome, but this one doesn't work well enough to justify the price.

What’s up moto heads! This device is awesome, all I can say is whenever I’m at the gate and I see two to three people struggling to engage a holeshot device.... I just smirk lol It’s super easy to use, twist and engage. I haven’t had any problems with it getting stuck or not engaging on the first try. This is worth it. I recommend to everyone I see at the track.

This product does not fit ktm 85 as stated in the question and answers
Good product but the information presented is wrong. It was asked if this will fit a 2022 ktm 85 and the answer was yes. Reaching out to pro taper for the template to install and they informed me that this product does not fit. Very disappointing being my son got hurt right after I ordered it. Waited for him to heal up before installing. Now he’s healed and ready to ride/ race again to find out it does not fit. Can’t return cause missed return window. Very disappointing being the information presented was wrong!
