These are good quality, and very reasonably priced hogrings. They work like they should, and don't cause the tool to jamb or misfire. The description doesn't state it, but these ARE galvanized steel hogrings. I contacted Spec-Ops customer service via their website and confirmed it prior to ordering them. They are boxed well, in 50 ring sticks. As the name suggests, these are RING616G50 compatible hogrings, so they will fit the Stanley Bostitch P7 hogring tool as well as Spec-Ops own tool. They "might" work in the Dewalt tool as they are the same width (20mm across to the outside edges) and gauge, but the pointed ends are a bit more curved than the Dewalt hogrings are. If I can get ahold of one of the dewalt tools, I'll update this review with my findings.

The metal is sturdy and doesn’t bend out of shape like some cheaper brands I’ve tried in the past. I used them to secure hardware cloth to my chicken pen, and they’ve held strong even with animals pushing against the fence. The size was just right and they went on cleanly with my pliers. Overall, great quality and a fair price for the box—you really get your money’s worth.

Worked very well for our purpose. We fenced in an area for chickens and covered the top and sides of the " chicken run" with chicken wire. We use this to clip the chicken wire on to the regular wire fencing to help keep everything in place. It made that job much faster and easier on the hands.

I got these for my Dewalt hog ring plier. Im glad I did. These work perfect, and i found they seem to actually make a better closed ring then the actual dewalt brand ones which are much more expensive. No reason to not go with these!
