Check the threads before you install
So, the brace looks like a good quality part. I watched three videos, and read three sets of directions. I'm not new to Mustangs or cars.I carefully placed everything in order, and went by the letter. I checked the bags to make sure they were marked correctly. Nothing was done incorrectly. However, there are two sizes, or threads, to the nuts for the shock tower studs. I installed the 10x1.5 first, torquing them to 35lbs. Then I began with the bag marked 1.25. I placed Locktite on the studs, so I expected some resistance. I worked back and forth threading the nuts on each side, and then when I went to tighten and torque, I realized they wouldn't tighten. After a while, I decided to remove them and start over, to no avail. I worked for four hours trying to take the nuts off. I finally gave up and called my mechanic.I took My Mustang in and found that they could not remove the nuts. They decided to cut them off and replace the upper shock mounts, which led to concerns for the struts themselves. With labor and parts, including putting the original SR Shock Tower Brace on, I will be at $2,200.00I'm sure there may have been another way, but I didn't want to risk any damage, or cause any weakness in the shock tower, struts, chasis, or brace.I went back and saw that someone else had similar problems. This is a quality control issue. The bag was mismarked, the nuts were not correct, and one could not tell until it was too late. Between the locking style nuts and the locktite, there was enough resistance to fool me into ignoring any possible issue.I wish I had gone with the Ford Racing part from Ford. Please, this needs to be addressed. Someone with less experience may have thought that the two nuts I able to torque would have been enough to go; which could have led to a catastrophic failure.Thankfully the catastrophic failure was on my bank account, and my opinion on buying parts from Amazon and SR.I know there is no way to file a claim, but I truly think I should be refunded for the part. I also think others should be warned, or this part should be pulled from your inventory.Regards, A Lighter Bank Account

SR strut bracket
Not a bad product, had to widen one of the bolt holes to get it to slide into place. Other than that we’ll see how it handles over time.
