It's perfect for clear water conditions when fish are being picky. It's fishing line. Holds up well and catches fish.

I love this fishing line. It's nearly impossible to see this line in the water. Super hard to break without scissors. Lightweight and plenty of fishing line for multiple fishing reels. I plan to keep this fishing line on hand.

This Berkley Vanish Fluorocarbon line has some pros, but it's best suited for short-term use. I've found that it works well for trout and bass fishing, especially when using lighter gear. The line is nearly invisible underwater, which is a huge advantage when targeting fish in clear waters, and it handles nicely on the reel when fresh. However, durability is a significant drawback. After one or two fishing trips, the quality starts to drop noticeably. You’ll find yourself stripping the line off and re-spooling sooner than expected. Only high-quality knots hold well with this line; otherwise, it tends to snap under pressure. If you aren’t confident in tying strong knots, this may not be the best option for you. Overall, it’s a decent line if you catch it on sale, but don’t expect it to last beyond a few outings. Good for specific trips, but there are more durable options out there for regular use.

Great line, I use it as leader material to attach to braid

I use it as leader material for 15 lb braid, holds up pretty good for inshore saltwater and freshwater although that's probably because 20lb is overkill for bass. Abrasion resistance seems solid, when I get cut off, it's because the braid usually got nicked on something. Only issue I've had is knot tying because it's fairly stiff.

I got this line for my bait caster for a trip to Canada and it performed flawlessly. I had no issues with backlash and the line was strong enough to handle some pretty big pike for 12# test line. I have had no issues with line twist or memory.

Vanish is my favorite fluororo. I have anywhere from 4-20 lb for different applications and I feel as if I catch more fish with it than other brands.

I have not found any problems with the Berkley Vanish Fluorocarbon 8lbs line, A good knot strength, cast well, the snoods length tend not to curl up like a lot of other fluorocarbon line I have tried and on the plus side it’s a large 2000 yards spool
