Unique and genius!
I was recommended this book from a fellow Crim-Psych student.. when she first showed me this and told me it was a 'must read' I knew I had to get it. Though, in hindsight, I really thought it was going to be a true stories book... but to my surprise, when it had arrive, it wasn't. But, I read it anyway as it was so highly recommended and absolutely loved it! The way this book is written is... GENIUS!Yes, the stories are really far-fetched and barely believable but they made for a good story. There were so many twists and turns that I thought I was going to get whiplash, but it made it all the more exciting and page-turning. I honest to God, could not put this book down and read it within hours. I then went and brought the next two because I just had to know what happens! The stories blend into each other and so do the characters, it makes for interesting reading and a mind-boggling experience. I don't think I have ever read a book quite like this one. It is most definitely unique in the style of writing and the way it's written and it's also mysterious in the way that we don't even know who the real person is behind 'Dr. Harper'... who wrote this amazing, incredible and unique book? Maybe we will never know, like we don't know who Banksy is but we love his work, right? The style of writing is different and eye-catching, it's invigorating and mysterious and in places has some rather dark humour. It's quite gory and out of this world, but it adds 'flavour' to the stories inside.Everyone reading this review? You NEED to read this, 100%. I promise, you will not be let down or sorry that you purchased it. I'm enjoying the next two books and reviews for them will shortly follow.

Brilliant
Such an amazing piece of work. I got through this book so quick, I was completely hooked from start to finish. It’s definitely one of my favourites now that’s for sure.

Very entertaining
Without spoilers, whilst I enjoyed the storyline of this book, and how each patient story connected with the next, I found the pacing to be off-putting. Whilst I understand that the book is short, the dialogue felt rushed and often confusing - patients seemingly transitioning from sobbing to "beaming smiles" within a few sentences. With that being said though, the plot twists were incredible, and I wasn't able to predict any of the patient file endings. Overall very enjoyable, looking forward to reading more from Dr. Harper!

It IS fiction!
I enjoyed it! It's not my usual crime thriller fiction but, as weird as it is, it makes for light and easy reading. YES it is eccentric and far fetched, and at times too rushed. If it was fleshed out into one big novel it'll be 10/10. However, it is an EASY READ. Light reading. I recommend to anyone who can't concentrate on a book for more than a week, this ones lunatic but definitely for you!I would give it 5/5 stars however its "fleshiness" for me personally is why ive rated it lower, it isn't a book for avid bookworms, nevertheless, it is a quality read & introduces people into crime fiction, no matter how bizzare.

Amazingly hooking and emotional
As someone who barely reads, I've finished this book within 3 nights. I love how all of the singular stories fall into one, how you become so attached and invested into these characters and their lives, the insane amount of twists that keep you guessing and yearning to read on. If you love a mystery or a physiologic read please give this book a try, you will no regret reading this I can guarantee you! I will be recommending, sharing, and rereading.

Review
The first book in the “I’m a Therapist” series by Dr. Harper. This book offers a unique and insightful perspective into the world of therapy. I believe these are stories from the subreddit /r/nosleep on Reddit. What sets this book apart is its ability to tackle sensitive topics with compassion and understanding. Dr. Harper’s expertise shines through as they navigate through various therapeutic scenarios, offering valuable insights and guidance along the way. The way they tried to help people, although strange, shows they had good intentions, sort of…The characters in the book are well-developed and authentic, each with their own distinct personalities and struggles. You think one thing of the patient and who they are or what they will do, but you’re wrong by the end of reading the file. The book offers a glimpse into the therapeutic process, shedding light on the importance of mental health and the positive impact therapy can have on individuals. It serves as a reminder that seeking help is not a sign of weakness but rather a courageous step towards healing and self-discovery, obviously the stuff that happens in this book, and the way the therapist tried to help near the end most likely wouldn’t happen in real life, but I wouldn’t know, I’m not a therapist 🤷🏻♀️Overall, this is a must-read for anyone interested in psychology, therapy, or simply gaining a deeper understanding of the human experience. I can’t wait to dive into the rest of the series!

Entertaining
Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Great short stories that all come together in the end. Love anthologies, not knowing that this is what it would be, great surprise and read in one sitting. There is some trigger moments in the book but handled brilliantly by the author.

Quick, Fun, Quirky, and Good
This is not the book I thought it would be. It was much more. A fun romp through files and a protagonist that is at once interesting, disarming, brilliant, and off center. Ass a mystery. Blend well.

Hollow characters, boring build-ups
It’s just a collection of dumb stories from redddit’s r/nosleep.It’s dull, dumb, boring, you can’t empathize with the characters, the situations often lead to a rushed conclusión. It’s an interesting premise poorly, very very poorly developed.0/10

Thrill pur!

Nice book but some predictable twist
This book was really nice, I could breeze through it easily enough since the writing was really crisp and lucidSome stories were really good, while the others felt predictable. However, I'd like to give a chance to the next books.
