This stuff tasted like trash; even though it had a pretty decent smell.

Too much carbon flavor for my liking and since it said medium roast, that's what I thought I was going to get. Happy Mug has better decaf at a better price. And,their half caff is amazing!

Good and Not Expensive
Finding decent decaf, whole bean coffee is not easy. This makes a good brew.Whole bean is a much better product than ground coffee. If you look at USA FDA standards for ground coffee, a frightening proportion of the product is not usable coffee. Ground coffee is safe, just filled with "natural" stuff that does not taste good.The beans were "oily" which is a sign of freshness. The product was delivered promptly. As decaf coffee goes, it has a good taste.

Best Low Acid Decaf on the Market
My doctor advised drinking a low acid decaf due to my gastro problems. Several brands advertise themselves as low acid, but they taste funny. While Trader Joe's Decaf does not advertise as low-acid, it is in fact lower acid than normal decaf. I really like the flavor.

These beans grind and brew up very well. I'm always mixing beans, so I don't get to taste them on their own,
