Great idea - have a wood stove with vertical flue, very hard to get anything up there to act as a cutoff in the warmer months. This worked OK for 2 seasons. Leaks, now. Also it's temperature sensitive like any balloon, so it doesn't plug things up so well when it gets cooler, unless you originally filled it with a hand pump when it's chilly. Due to getting only two good seasons out of it, not likely to buy again.

The concept se me simple and effective, but this product did not live up to its billing. After installation (which may not be as easy as you think if you have a damper to go around) I reinflated as stated in the instructions. I checked it after a couple days. It was partially deflated, tilted and not sealing anything. I reinstalled and reinflated. Couple days later the same issue.Save yourself some money and time and use a method that does not rely on air to keep the seal. This item is being returned.

I purchased one and found it a bit difficult to install in a round flue. It tended to inflate diagonally causing an air gap. I was able to position it so that it did not create a gap. Now I have noticed that it loses air pressure in less than a week. I always have to re inflate to keep it pressurized. The value is just not there based on how much it cost.

It was a little more challenging to install than expected. I did need the 16” extension as other users had indicated as well as buying a longer inflation tube. Once properly installed it works fine. May need to add air occasionally based on weather changes. Final comment is it’s a little overpriced for what it is. Didn’t give it five stars due to pricing and not including a longer inflation hose.

Great idea...not new...but the first to pantent the design.The price is too expensive for what it is though.And I can do just as well with a heavy duty plastic bag filled with fiberglass insulation.

This worked very well, exactly as described. It stopped the draft immediately and the room is much more comfortable to be in now. It did take a couple tries to seat it correctly. Also, I recommend wearing disposable gloves, your hands will get messy.

Helped a little but not enough for the money. By pipe is round and this is not so it still let some air through.
