Great lube for dry days.
This is my favorite chain lube because it keeps the drivetrain so clean. The downside is you need to reapply it pretty much every ride but your drive train stays extremely clean and allows you to limit the amount of times you need to really deep, clean the chain cassette and crank it. It is also not super effective in extremely rainy conditions. It does work well with dry and dusty conditions

My favorite lube
I've tried many lubes and this is my favorite. There are many "clean" lubes out there, but this is the only one that seems to work. Easy application, shake, apply to chain while spinning in reverse, continue spinning in reverse for it to work into the chain, wipe off excess. Wiping off excess also cleans any dirt on the chain. The bike is ready to ride the next day. Because this is a dry lube, the chain collects very little dirt, if any. Hence, the chain/cassette/chain rings stay very clean. Your hands/clothing will not get greasy on the occasion that you need to touch the chain. The down side is that it does not last as long as wet lubes, especially in the wet weather. I typically get 50-60 miles per application, which for me means application after every ride. I would give it 5 stars if it lasted a bit longer.Other lubes that I used include teflon dry, synthetic wet, and pro gold. Teflon dry was similar to the wax, but not as clean. Synthetic wet is simply an ordinary oil for biking and although it lasted the longest was the messiest. The pro gold lasts longer, but not as clean as the wax.

Great General Purpose Oil
This is my kind of "Gold Standard" of bike oil, I use it on both my trail bike and my commuting bike. Well, basically it's oil, there's not too much to say but this particular oil keeps chains, cassettes and chain jockeys CLEANER. Notice how I said CLEANER not IMMACULATE, you will still need to actually clean the drivetrain of your bike every so often but much less while regulary using this oil I've found. This sheds and keeps dust and crap off the chain much better than your regular household oil such as 3-in-one, in fact 3-in-one is like glue compared to Clean Ride. However this doesn't come at a price, you have to apply this at least once a week for a commuting bike, twice if you are commuting more than 50 miles a week. I would apply this after each ride out to the trails. You will also have to reapply if it rains on your bike because this isn't very moisture resistant. Overall a good general purpose bike oil, I would definitely recommend it if you don't need something wet weather specific or don't mind applying it at least once a week.

Great lubrication without the mess
I've been using this product for many years. In a way, that makes me a bad reviewer because I don't have much basis for comparison. But I have been very happy with this. I got into this product when I was a bike commuter. When you have to be at work at 8, you can't afford to have a greasy, black bike chain and spend 10 minutes cleaning your hands before work because your chain fell off or you had a flat. With white lightening, I could have a rear wheel flat without the additional aggravation of having to scrub at the office. Do you have to apply this more often than oily lubes? Yes, but you don't' care because it isn't messy? Does it lube well? It's great. Do I recommend it? you bet.Keep in mind that I live in an area with very little rainfall. If it rained buckets, I might have a different opinion of the product. I just don't know.
