A solid paint set
Vallejo model air kits are excellent for airbrush work. Any set that has colors you want is a good buy.I just with "Luftwaffe" had been a little more prominent in the description, I might have kept looking.

Better than a ziploc bag!
A good investment for my important documents and other valuables, even with all the negative reviews. I can fit hanging file folders without any problems. I also store my external HDD and a few flashdrives (inside a ziploc bag 1st). As for the moisture problem others have mentioned, I use a Moisture Eliminator ($1 @ Dollar Tree). So far everything has been working fine.My only complaint is that they should have put handles on this thing.

Hard to lock and unlock, I have to push down real hard on the top to get it open

Hard to open
THE CATCH IS DIFFICULT TO OPEN UNTIL YOU GET THE HANG OF IT. I spent at least a half hour pushing the latch in. My fingers are not as strong as they used to be- I'm 80. The safe seems like my legal papers will be safe from fire and water. Amazon was where I purchased it and the shipping was free. Amazing!

Does not closes properly - potential of getting items stuck in it
What I don't like about my safe is that the handle gets stuck. I don't know what is wrong with it and its way to heavy to consider shipping back so basically stuck with it.I think the latch isn't long enough to release when we press the button on top or something. Basically we do not lock it (so not an issue with the lock or key mechanism) - I'm talking about the button / handle on the front top part does not depress enough to actually open the safe sometimes (its like it doesn't realize we're even pressing down). Once it took ten times of wiggling and slamming on the button to finally get it to open - which was really scary - considering all my vital documents like passport were in there. We now lightly close the lid (BUT DO NOT LET IT LATCH / FULLY CLOSE) and hope it will still protects the documents in a fire or flood - which is the reason we got it. If a thief wanted the documents, they would easily just take the whole safe so not really theft protection. We may have gotten a defective one, though I would recommend buying in a store, where its easier to return it. One of the most heavy things I've ordered from Amazon and I've ordered furniture. The size was fine. The plastic accordion folder has to got in diagonal but that is all I was putting in there.

when i got the safe I felt excited about it. For the price it looked like a winner. well guess again. The safe when close will not open. The cheap key i got with it will not open the safe. i can fell the key turning the lock but nothing works right. the safe is fine but the locking mechanisms are crap. what a waste!!

Exactly what I expected from the descriptions and price
I am very happy with this purchase. It is exactly as I expected it to be from reading the description. The price was reasonable, I do not find the problems with the latch as others have noted in reviews. My unit did come with instructions for opening: "push down on top of lid when unlocking", this is needed due to the water seal gasket around the opening, maybe people have not read the instructions prior to putting their valuables into the safe and locking it, either way it has been working great for me. I recommend it for files or miscellaneous small items that do not require the security of a true safe (this item could obviously be picked up and carried off by most any adult, and the latch could also likely be broken with a crow bar and hammer if given some time) but rather for items that need to be saved in event of fire or flood.

Product meets my expectations
Solid, well built product. No one's going to run away with this 40 lb fireproof box. The box comes will a label that describes how to open the lid. This must be in response to customer complaints since several buyers had difficulty opening the lid. I found it very easy to open. The box has ample room for file hangers which is a nice plus.I've read horror stores that paper products have mildewed and been destroyed so I plan to use silica gel packets and to store my documents in a water proof bag until I'm convinced I don't have a mildew problem. I plan to leave a few pieces of scrap paper outside the water proof bag to see if I do get any mildew. Long term, I don't think I will need the water proof bag because I live in a very dry climate.Multiple buyers of this product have complained that the lid can separate from the hinge. I suspect that this can happen if you flip the lid open and do not support it. I plan to put a label on the lid to warn other family members so the lid doesn't get over extended. It also helps to put the box against a wall so the wall supports the lid in a vertical position.
