Works great
Works better than I expected. It's pretty much like a mini megaphone. The strap is key so that you can wear it a little lower to prevent the howling noises. But if you follow the directions and don't point the microphone at the device and keep it far enough away, it works great. Nice range and volume control. There's no lag whatsoever and it does a great job of amplifying your voice. The included headset is nicer than I expected it to be, so no need to upgrade there. It's really comfortable and works perfectly. Haven't used the card slot feature yet but in plan to test it soon. My voice isn't the loudest, so got this for presentations. Used it in a banquet room the other day with well over 100 people in it and my voice could definitely be heard all the way from the back of the room, and it wasn't even turned up all the way. I love that I don't have to feel like I'm yelling anymore. The sound is really clear as well. The battery life seems good. It lasted for well over an hour when I used it with no issues. Could definitely see how this would be great for teachers and anyone who gives presentation or speeches.

Comfortable Voice & Patience Saver
I’m staying with my dad while recovering from injury/surgery. He is hard of hearing, finds hearing aids uncomfortable, and usually doesn’t wear them. I got hoarse from shouting to him and frustrated repeating myself, This little device lets my dad hear me the first time and has allowed my voice to heal. It has volume adjustment that can get quite loud (for my purposes). It is simple to use (for voice amplification). It is possible to get a really loud high pitched feedback sound. I would suggest turning the speaker volume all the way down before powering the device on. Keep the microphone and speaker maybe at least six inches from each other and slowing adjust the volume up.There are a variety of ways to attach the speaker. I usually can’t stand things around my neck (even a necklace) but this works for me with the neck strap, The speaker is very lightweight. I also typically can’t tolerate things on my head. The microphone/headset is light weight and comfortable on my neck, seems like microphone can be adjusted infinite ways.I wish I’d had this product years ago for times when I lost my voice or had laryngitis.

Lasted 3 years of daily use before plastic hooks broke
I'll be clear from the beginning - this thing saved my voice. I am an elementary school music teacher and need to sing, talk, move, and dance all day long. It was a godsend to find this item. I used this EVERY DAY in my music classroom for 2 school years before one of the plastic hooks in the back broke. Another year later and the belt clip broke. Now, after 3 years of regular use, I'm down to only one plastic hook on the back and once that breaks I will have to get a new speaker because I will have no way to attach it to myself. I am actually surprised it lasted this long, considering how much I am using/abusing it.The sound quality is OK... not fantastic but not terrible either. Feedback occurs if the amplifier gets too close to metal or if the microphone gets too close, but that's to be expected. I've never once had an issue with it not lasting all day. I plug it in at night after a full day of teaching and it is ready to go for another 8 hours easily.I would buy again except the plastic hooks leave me leery. I may try to find something with metal next time just to see if it will last a little longer. Otherwise, great product! Definitely worth the money!

Game Changer in Pandemic Kindergarten
I bought this after two days back in the classroom (with social distancing and masking) wrecked my voice. I had to get a COVID test because my throat was so swollen! If teaching in these circumstances affects you the same way, please try a voice amplifier. This one is fantastic. My kindergarten students in the far side of my large classroom can hear me easily and clearly (important when teaching correct speech sounds and phonemic awareness skills), even through my mask.I tried a few different ways of wearing the device before settling on what works for me. It was awkward to wear the amplifier around my neck or cross-body, so I wear it like a belt with the speaker off to the side or in front, depending on what I'm doing. Wearing the speaker over my head like a headband was challenging for me as it kept getting knocked askew and needing to be adjusted at inconvenient moments. Then, I realized I could put the band around the back of my neck instead, and it's worked perfectly ever since.I wore the belt snuggly around my waist, and one morning I leaned over and the metal on the clasp popped apart. I contacted the manufacturer through Amazon, and I had a replacement belt within a week. Great customer service. By the end of the day without using the amplifier, my throat was already swollen again. This amplifier gets a lot of use... I plug it in to charge each day after school, and the battery is good for at least six hours the next day. Toward the end of one day, the sound started fading. I panicked and ordered a new one, not wanting to go without again. I haven't had to use the new one, though, as I haven't had any problems since. I think I must not have fully charged the device the day before. There can be feedback when I get too close to other tech, or even when I lean over and the mic is too close to the amp, so I've learned not to do that (I remember MOST of the time... when I forget the class goes wild laughing).Even though I hope we will return to a more typical classroom setting by next school year, I'm considering continuing the use of the amplifier. It's nice to be able to use a regular, soft, speaking voice and be heard by all students, and I like being able to raise my voice a little when needed and be heard over the hubbub of a busy class of five year olds.Highly recommend!
