Kept my stuff dry!
Bought this because I didn't want to spend 3-4 times the amount for an Osprey one.I bought a Large for my Osprey Aether 60. Comes in a neat matching small stuff sack. There is a draw string at the top to tighten the cover securely to any pack. This covered the bag alone sufficiently, but be mindful if you are going to be attaching items outside of the pack. In my case, I added a Thermarest sleeping pad to the outside of my pack, and the rain cover was able to wrap around the sleeping pad, but would stop short at the bottom part of the backpack. This wouldn't be ideal if I had to set my backpack down on mud. :( Anyway, I saw this simply as a trade-off for "cheaping out" and still went with it camping this passed weekend. Low and behold, it rained throughout the night and into the day and I had to use the rain cover as we hiked back to civilization.I was a little concerned since I had 2000 dollars worth of camera equipment in my pack, but the cover did it's job. The outside as well as the contents in my bag were all dry!For the price, it's definitely worth a shot if you want to be budget-minded.

Good enough to use if you're using an umbrella probably
First: it is waterproof. I put a roll of toilet paper inside and threw the whole thing in a tub full of water. Worked perfectly. My problems arose when I was actually putting it on the backpack. There's nothing to attach it snugly to the top of the backpack, so there's about a 1/2" space between you and where it starts protecting your backpack since your backpack straps will lift it at the top. Good enough to use if you're using an umbrella probably. The elastic cord is also pretty weak. If you pull it through as far as possible and secure it, it is immediately less tight.

Small size is great for school backpacks (North Face Recon)
Works great! I have a north face recon backpack that I use for school and I like to have this rain cover on hand in case it rains. I tried it out recently and it protected my books and nothing in my bag got wet. I also love the little carrying pouch it came with, and it's so light I keep it in my backpack at all times just in case. I purchased the 'small' size and it fit my backpack just fine. PLEASE NOTE: make sure your backpack has space between the top of the strap and the top of the backpack, as this is what the rain cover cinches around. The second picture shows what I mean.

Great for the Price... Better than EMS
I had originally purchased a pack cover at EMS which was too small for my Osprey Aura 65 liter pack. I found this pack on Amazon for an extremely low price and was pleased to see that it fit perfectly. I purchased a size Large because I'll have my sleeping pad on the bottom of my pack. This cover was great. I purchased the cover in black and it looks really nice. There is a drawstring to tighten the pack around the bag to prevent it from coming loose. I bought this for a backpacking trip and I know it will come in handy. It also came with a pouch for storage when it is not needed. I read in previous reviews that the logo was large... in my opinion, the logo is just fine. For the price paid, I don't care what the logo looks like as long as it keeps my pack dry. Will test it out on my next trip.

Essentially rain cover for both bike commuters and hikers
I commute to school via bike and do alot of hiking, so I bought this in order to keep my backpack dry on rainy days. It folds up in a nice little pouch that's comes with the cover, which allows it to be neatly stored inside my backpack on nice days. Best feature: its actually waterproof!! It has rained several times since I purchased this cover, sometimes quite heavy, and my backpack never got wet. I bought the small size which was still a little large for the small daypack I was carrying, but because it is adjustable with a pull cord, I was able to pull it tightly enough to snug to the backpack and still be effective in keeping the rain out. Because it was a little big, it also fits my bike panniers as well!!. Get this rain cover, the price is reasonable compared to those "branded" rain covers.

It's a good idea, and a good product as far as ...
It's a good idea, and a good product as far as I can tell. One design problem: A lot of backpacks now (mine included) have the straps coming out of the very top of the bag. The design of this product is like a fitted sheet. With straps right at the top, there is no place to install the cover where it will stay on.

Good value
I bought a small for my normal size school backpack (fits a laptop, textbooks, and binders), and it fits well. The material seems very durable. The carry case/bag is nice. For the price, I have no major complaints.Minor cons: The drawstring clasp on the cover does like to slide if pulled too tight. There I would also suggest adding some sort of strap or clip to keep it secured on the backpack. There is a small gap between the cover and my backpack straps. I hope water does not leak in. Not everyone may have this problem depending on the design of the backpack.

Great value and a happy customer
I purchased this for my "Paladineer Outdoor Sport Back Pack (75L+15L)" and was a little worried that it would be too small, when I ordered it. I loaded up my bag to the brim and The OUTAD Rain Cover covers it perfectly. I tested the rain cover for water resistance by pouring water over it and it is in fact 100% waterproof. My backpack is supposed to be water resistant, but I didn't want to take any chances because anyone who has ever been backpacking knows that having wet blankets can ruin the whole trip. I saw there was rain in the forecast and paying less than $10 to rest assure that everything will remain dry is a no brainer. Great value and a happy customer. I would highly recommend this product.
