I am using this to make a tea mix for a friend who doesn't want to do dialysis. Still early to know how he will respond, but the product is a true one for its purpose as an herb. Couch grass is one or more species of gramma or similar and the rhizome is that portion of the root that sends out runners (the way the grass reproduces.) Of course this is only one of four essential ingredients that are used in the tea, and I was able to find them all at Amazon.

I make a tea which is a kidney cleanse. I found this herb hard to find. Glad it is in Amazon. The bag makes about 3 month's supply at 1-2 cups a day.
