Wreck This Journal (Paper bag) Expanded Edition Review: Unleashes Creativity Like Nothing Else! - I ordered Wreck This Journal for my daughter, and it’s quickly become one of the most fun and freeing books she’s ever owned. If your child (or even you!) struggles with perfectionism or the pressure of a blank page, this journal completely flips that mindset on its head. Instead of “keeping things neat,” the book encourages you to color outside the lines, rip pages, paint with coffee, and basically break all the traditional rules of journaling. It’s silly, surprising, and deeply creative. My daughter loves the prompts and has started seeing her creativity as something fun and wild—not something that has to be “right.” This isn’t just a journal—it’s an invitation to let go, make mistakes, and enjoy the process. Highly recommended for kids, teens, and even adults who want to reignite their imagination. A great gift too! Review: So fun, so weird, so worth it - Thus thing is so fun. I bought it for my husband for his birthday. Day one he got to stomp on, spit in, and smear I'm this book. It's so fun because normally we treat our items with respect right? We'll this book- is meant to be disrespected and let me tell you.. the weird joy my husband has gotten out of this book, is so worth it

Creative, Fun, and Surprisingly Therapeutic!
My daughter loved receiving this book as a gift. Wreck This Journal is such a unique and fun way to unleash creativity! Every page has a different prompt that encourages you to let go of perfection and just have fun. It’s great for stress relief, self-expression, and even bonding with kids or friends. I love that there are no rules—just pure creativity. Highly recommend for anyone who loves to doodle, destroy, and de-stress!

Fun, but Gross.
My daughter and I bought this as a bonding, mother-daughter project and it is fantastic! We cracked each other up with our creative ideas. Some of the projects were really fun. Others were just......dumb. And pointless. And gross. The dumb. Tie this journal to a string, swing it around and hit the walls - Hey, didn't your Mom teach you not swing things around and hit the walls? And who's going to fix the holes you put in the drywall? If you decide to try this activity, you'd better have a job so you can pay a handyman to repair the damage you cause. Find a way to wear the journal. - No. I work for the public so that's not going to fly. Roll the journal down a hill - I live in Texas, not in the Hill Country. We don't have hills. The pointless. Pick up the journal without using your hands - I'm busy. I don't have all day to try and levitate this thing with my mind. Figure out how to freeze the page - Okay. Did that. Now what? Take the journal into the shower - I realize the point is to wreck the journal, but I don't wreck the whole thing to the point where I'm can't do anything else with it. No. I'm not doing that. Slide the journal down a long hall - *blink* *blink* The gross. Rub the page on a dirty surface. - This will mean the end of the activity because now I'll have to throw it away. Place sticky things here. - NO!! I'm not doing to put sticky things in here that will attract bacteria...and ants.....and anteaters. Tongue painting? - Now not only will I have an anteater problem, I will probably die from a horrible stomach virus. Chew on this page - see above. Stain log - STOP IT!!!! Gah! What is it with all the gross things? Maybe it would have appealed to me when I was 7 and I 'd never heard of bacteria. Still, some of the projects were poignant and thought provoking, like writing internal dialogue and making the page a sign, and they bonded my daughter and me in profound ways. Some of them were fun and made us laugh. Drawing with glue was really fun, as was attaching a magazine page and circling the words that appealed to us. Another fun thing we learned was that there are web pages devoted to people who have done this activity and have done some incredibly creative and beautiful things with it. But do your projects before you look at the because it will make you feel inadequate to see them first and realize you can never do something that beautiful. I would still recommend the book. My daughter and I have had a lot of fun with it. Just skip over the gross parts and have fun with the parts that you enjoy.

entertaining
It’s an amazing project and something you can do to keep yourself entertained except there are a few pages that have things about putting food into it which might mold overall amazing

Wreck it good!!
I've been working on "wrecking" mine for years. I always take it with me to visit grandchildren. Each time they take a page and sign and date it. I've also sent many of them to other children and adults. It's a great way to express your creativity.
