Used these on all my ford plow trucks. They are easy to install once you get the broken part out of the engine block. I always repaint with several layers of rust preventative paint to help last. Again these are plow trucks so see alot of salt and bad weather.

Nice part. Fits well and is well made with a nice finish. Why clean the old one when this one is so inexpensive.

Almost exact?
It seemed to be the exact same at the broken one I pulled out but it was very difficult to install. I could not get it to seat all the way in and the place it fits into is very difficult to see let alone reach. Calipers said the size was the same but it was very tight.

Doesn't fit in a 2000 Ford V10
Dorman tube does not fit a Ford 2000 V10 block. Look @ the attached photos, the left tube is the Dorman. Note the different shape of the interface section of the tube and it is also 0.5 know large. The center tube is the broken tube and right is the new Ford tube. Needless to say it would not install. I will also state that I also purchased a Dorman tube from a National auto chain store. And it was the same as the this one (size and shape).
