Warm, not bad at all, but heavy.
My wife got this one for me. The jacket does run small. I'm 6'2", 205 and usually take a 42 Long suit. I ordered an XL and it does feel a bit small. The good: I wore it in 24F weather with a strong wind and it is incredibly warm. It was raining a bit and the jacket does seem to shed water also. Don't know how it would be in a driving rain. Others have posted that this is for extreme weather conditions and I can say it works under those conditions. If you're looking for a jacket for above freezing temps, this may be too warm. It is well made and has more pockets than you'll ever need. The sleeves fit snugly around your wrists with a thumbhole to keep them from riding up. It is also much thinner than an equivalent down jacket and I guess that's due to the aerogel. It wraps around your neck to keep you warm there also. The bad: It weighs more than an equivalent down jacket. Some of this is due to the many pockets and strong fabric this is made of. I would have thought the aerogel would make it not only thinner but lighter. Thin it is, but it definitely weighs more. It is designed for extreme weather so I guess that's the tradeoff. All in all, its a well made and very warm jacket for extreme cold. You don't look like the Pillsbury Doughboy in it like some down parkas. I think its a very good jacket for below freezing and subzero weather even in strong winds. If you need to move around the thinness of the jacket is a plus.I was going to see if they had a 2X and order it to see if it fit better than the XL, but I noticed they're sold out.

Awesome Warm Jacket! Ove of the best I've ever owned!
Awesome jacket! It's a very warm jacket. Outside at -20F / -29C my legs, feet and face were cold and my mid section was perfectly warm with just a t-shirt on. I've worn it inside without moving around much at 70F/21C and didn't even get hot. It adjusts to a great range of temperatures! The outer shell is made from a very sturdy plastic but not like canvas. I removed the hood as I wear it to my office job daily. I would definitely purchase another one! The only thing I will say which is negative is that it's a smaller fit than normal. I've been an XL for more than 15years and if I hadn't lost a little off my midsection recently it would be a very tight fit. If in doubt order the next size up. I'm an XL and even now would order an XXL.

Seems like a well made jacket but way to small for me. It was labeled a 3XL but fit me like a Large. All my coats are 2XL or 3XL.

and I am happy to have it
My Oros Orion jacket has arrived, and I am happy to have it. It fits well & feels good. I will probably have to match it with the rainjacket as well. This is a very good product.

Overall a good design but zipper ruins it
The jacket is warm and functions great in very cold weather. But, the zipper keeps coming unzipped from the bottom up, and when it does it skips teeth and damages the zipper. After one winter of use the zipper is dead.

Great concept that doesnt work.
Well its been 2 years that Ive had this jacket and it doesnt live up to its claims. No snow skirt or anyway to tighten the bottom of the jacket so the wind and cold just go straight up the jacket from underneath. Unless your wearing bib pants or overalls you will feel the chill. The weight of the jacket does not lend itself to back packing eas its too big to stow in your pack if you plan on doing any hiking or snowshoeing you will overheat and end up wrapping the jacket around your waste due to its bulk it just cant be packed down to stow away properly.Ive tested the jacket in the Catskills and VT , my northface estow away down jackets kept me warmer that the orion. I would not recommend this jacket especially at the price point when the wind and cold come in so easily and you cant really do any hiking with this thing on.

Hello, I am curious about the new product, ...
Hello,I am curious about the new product, for that reason I bought their jacket. In general, it's well made, but in Canada for this time it's about 20 F, I could walk outside with only one layer ( one T shirt), it still keeps me warm. But I am not sure that jacket is able to keep me warm at - 5 F.it is not light as advertised, it weights 2.5 pounds compared with the duvet jacket, it's not light.if you are in Canada, considering about the customs fees because, in my case I have to pay 100 $ extra for the importation fee etc.
