DuChateau Floors 33.8 fl oz Premium Floor Cleaner & Protectant 1 Liter

Our DuChateau floors are the nicest floors I've ever had in a house, so I have need neurotic about cleaning/protecting them. This product -- expensive as noted -- really works great and makes me feel like cleaning the floors won't diminish their look or quality. This is a concentrate, so you get a great deal of cleanings out of a bottle (though still expensive even with that). It has a great smell, and the floors are slightly slippery when finished, an indication that in addition to cleaning there is a type of polymer or way that is added for protection. I'm very pleased with the product and how it works with the DuChateau floors.

The ready to use diluted spray is NOT AS GOOD and does not last as long as the original concentrated product. The diluted spray does not leave the floors as shinny as the concentrated product used to. Plus spraying all over the floor uses up very fast the bottle. The concentrated product mixed with water in a bucket used to last much much longer and the floors were shinier. Please sell again the bottles of the concentrated product.

We've used this cleaner previously on our DuChateau floors several times a year. We bought more as a back up and this bottle is lumpy. The lumps don't dissolve well in water so I have to pick the little globs off the floor. It's easy to use and we love the smell. Perhaps this was a bad batch.

Sounds very expensive but this is a concentrate and lasts a really, really long time. 1 capful makes about a 1/2 gallon of cleaner. Really makes the DuChateau wood floor look great and helps protect it too. An unusual thing I noticed is that it helps quiet the sound a shoe makes as it strikes the floor-added bonus I guess. A wood store recommended Woca Natural Wood Soap instead of this product. He said it was the same thing but much cheaper. I tried it in a small section and it did not compare.

Love this product. My whole house is Du Chateau oak flooring. It's an unfinished look but it takes a dedication to care & maintenance. This product diluted will wash & replish a little on a regular basis. I have also used a tiny drop on a cloth to stain remove and it works well every time. It's expensive but not as expensive as the floor & a little goes a long way. Pity it's so expensive but Price aside I would recommend.
