I unsoldered SMPS Transformer and tested the Primary it matches what the tester confirms it will do I am glad this will be able to let me know if i have a Problem with the Primary of the switched Mode Power Supply. As for the Secondary, the red lights completely go off even on a working SMPS. Is that the way it should behave

Works great for go\no-go solution
Works great and arrived on time. I use this with my Oscilloscope to show how ringing is produced in a coil and cap tank circuit and is useful for testing coils for shorts.

It will spot a bad one without me having to install it and test
I repair radios on a daily basis where I'm forced to salvage switching transformers from donor units because they are no longer available and this gives me a quick out-of-circuit test. It will spot a bad one without me having to install it and test. It has saved me a bunch of time and headache. So far out of a dozen or so tested it has spotted 3 bad ones that tested OK with a ohmeter. So quick and easy to use. Well worth the money for me!
