LEGO Harry Potter Forbidden Forest: Umbridge’s Encounter 75967 Magical Forbidden Forest Toy from Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix (253 Pieces)

Lego nerd and recent college grad here. This set is fun to build. It's got a great assortment of figures and is nice for kids, collectors and adults who still shamelessly play with Lego like me. I'd highly recommend it. Here's what I liked and didn't like:Pros:It comes with a superb selection of figures. The centaurs are some of the coolest figures released this year. They have double sided heads and front and back printing. Their tails are molded in a different color from the rest of the body so they can withstand play without getting damaged. It’s great to get Dolores Umbridge in a widely available set that isn't a small fortune. I think her face accurately captures both her sadistic smile and scared expression. Harry and Hermione are also cute. The set includes some very rare parts, such as sausage pieces in sand green. The tree is nice has some cool details like the bike handlebar that Grawp gives to Hermione. Grawp has a printed face (not a sticker) and a pink piece where his brain should be.Cons:While Grawp looks impressive from the front, his back side leaves something to be desired. To be sure, for play and display purposes this is not a problem, but it is something that could have been easily fixed using some tiled pieces. I don’t think most kids will care about this though to be honest. Also, though the tree is nice, it doesn’t really do anything other than open up. What more can I say?? My 4 yr old nephew sat on my husband’s lap for an hour and put this together (with very little assistance I might add). You should have seen how happy he was every time he completed a limb! He loved the whole thing so much that he immediately took the troll upstairs and snuggled with it til he fell asleep. Easy to assemble (obviously if a 4yr old can do it) and super cute!! Great set!!

This is a fun kit for Harry Potter fans or kids just looking to add some more magical creatures to their Lego collections. You get 3 HP characters, 2 centaurs with bows and a properly hefty giant along with a spooky tree with a hidden treasure. There are some cute touches too, for example the inside of the giant's head are pink and blue pieces which we think are supposed to be his brain.This is a surprisingly challenging kit, recommended for ages 8 and over and I would not recommend it for younger kids. The moving parts in the giant and the tree in particular might need some help from an adult to get right.My only disappointment is that the giant has smooth feet and cannot clip onto a Lego base so he's hard to stand in an action pose. It's a small thing, but a bit surprising, other Lego figures can clip to blocks so I'm not sure why this one wasn't designed to. Other than that it's a fun kit with a lot potential for making your own adventures.

The Harry Potter line of Lego is great for avid Harry Potter fans. These sets have detailed instructions and are low-level challenge. Once assembled they are very sharp looking. Great as a gift or to pass the time. We loved the attention to detail within the set, many delicate pieces really add to the look of the finished build.

It’s actually a great build very fun.
