Doesn't prematurely cut tape if you hold the handle as in this video. Works fine for me. It takes standard (3/4in) width tape as well as narrow "washi" style. And it completely encloses the tape, so it's safe to keep in a box with other items.

This is a very easy to use tape dispenser, and I love using it. It is easy to load new refill tape rolls, and it operates very smoothly with just one hand. Highly recommend.

I purchased a couple of these. I can say that they are very handy to have, but I found the I could not get 2 that functioned exactly the same. The first unit worked fine, but the second would only Cut the tape every other time. So I returned it. Received a replacement and it worked better, but still no where close to the first unit. On the replacement unit it worked if you pulled the trigger to dispense the tape, then let off of the trigger fast. If you squeeze in and slowly let out if would not cut completely. I give it 4 stars for convenience and 2 starts for product consistency. With this all said, it was a decent product, not exceptional, it works, but don’t plan to do a lot of high speed taping. The cutting Mechanism can be a little finicky. I think it’s worth the cost because of the time savings vs cutting small strips by hand, or repeatedly tearing pieces off of a standard roll.

I wanted to like this item. The concept seems great. However, the execution is terrible. Once in every 20 tries, I might get the tape to cut as instructions say. Otherwise, it would not cut and I was left with long trails of tape sticking to everything and requiring a scissors to cut. Defeats the purpose. Thankfully, I can return in time for a refund.

Can't imagine wrapping with out this clever little tool! Great gift idea for the wrappers in your life.

Seemed easier to use than it is. Tape doesn’t always wanna detach.

It's a great tool actually excellent you just have get use to using it .junk it brook after 5 times of using it.

Makes wrapping presents so much easier

Very useful and efficient. Perfect for packaging use, but if it is for normal stationary purposes, it is lesser so. Recommend normal tape dispenser for class or home office

I bought this specifically for wrapping Christmas presents. I used good-quality 19mm 3M tape, but it only works correctly about 10% of the time. When it does work, it also manages to fold the cut tape when it dispenses it. I'd return it, but it's too late. I've gone back to my good old reliable heavy-duty desktop tape dispenser. At least I can operate that one-handed

Not as easy to use as you think. Tape often doesn’t cut when releasing the big button. Tape does pull out okay but you needed to do it in one continuous go or the take sticks to itself.

It has been a month using this dispenser. Totally satisfied with its performance. Put it to heavy use last month and it worked without fail. Its plastic quality it good no issues till now
