My kiddo thinks handwashing is a fun game now!
This is very helpful to help teach my 4 yr old how long she should scrub while handwashing. She loves it and it has turned handwashing into a fun activity, rather than a dreaded chore. It has tumbled into the sink a couple of times, and she often bops it with soapy fingers, and it's still working wonderfully, so it's a durable product. I think this is a great learning tool for home or school.

Great way to improve hand washing time!
My kids stopped singing while they wash their hands and I noticed they were washing for shorter and shorter time. They love this mashing the button when they go to wash their hands and not having to count how long they wash! It’s nice that it’s silent with a cute bubbly blue light and when the timer is up it beeps to let you know! I thought about getting them the music one but I thought that would end up getting on everyone’s nerves after a few days. We are all very happy with this one! The adults even like to use it :)

Very engaging
Update: stopped working and became very rusty on the bottomI bought this for my six-year-old, who seems to be rushing through handwashing nowadays. The timer is for I think 20 seconds that he needs to scrub and the “beep” that it is over with is loud enough that I can hear it in the other room. I like that aspect because I know that he’s using it.

It’s a 23 second timer
It’s actually a 23 second timer. In small print in the box it says “timer runs for 23 seconds: 3 for getting ready, and 20 for washing.”I got it for timing quick quizzes in class and would have preferred it to be just 20 seconds exactly as it is seemingly advertised.

A smart purchase for preschool classroom
I use these timers in my preschool bathroom, and they work perfectly. The kids have been taught to scrub their hands until the blue light goes off and they may not always do it, but it works better than counting to twenty or singing a song. Also, I can hear the ending chime from inside the classroom, so I can tell if they've washed for long enough (like when they come out too early, or if I hear them getting paper towel before the chime). I put mine in ziplock bags, just in case they fall in the sink, but I don't know if it is necessary. We've used them for two months and the batteries seem to be going strong still.

Perfect for the classroom!
I was looking for a timer to teach the 20 second hand washing process that could get wet too. I’ve tried other kitchen timers before, but they always quit working after getting too much water on them. This was PERFECT for keeping track of hand washing time and students didn’t even have to tap it with their clean hands to turn it off - it made a sound and the lights go off. This has been the best teaching tool to practice using enough time to clean hands properly. I bought two and will buy more in the future for teacher friends!

Great timer for brushing the teeth
I have three kids use it to brush their teeth. 20 seconds for the three sections on top then 20 seconds for the three sections on the bottom. It will equal the 2 minutes that is recommended by the dentist 👍
