Disappointing condition
Not very pleased with the quality of the book at all, there is a big grubby mark on the back and damage to the spine. In addition to this, the outer casing has come away from the spine. Such a shame as I was so excited to receive this.

Lovely book, but unfortunately had the same issue as other reviewers and the top and bottom of the book’s spine is damaged! A shame as otherwise it’s lovely.

How am I expected to give this as a gift to a collector when it looks like its come from a table top sale

Damaged cover
I’m disappointed with the transportation for which I paid more than 50£ for the books to arrive like they’re old copies. It’s really sad because I was looking forward to this collection.

Looks Used - again!
Another with dirty marks all over - these books have such lovely designs but almost every one I’ve received has looked somewhat used!

I bought all 6 Austen novels in these editions. The books are beautiful and I love them, I was just discouraged from the way they were packaged. I received them this week and as soon as I opened the box, I saw that the books appeared as though they were simply thrown in the box. They already have signs of wear and tear. I love the quality of the books, just not impressed with how they were packaged.
