I got this because my iPad finally died after 8 great years of use and I needed another tablet quickly, because my online classes were starting in a few days. All of my textbooks are online, so I would've been dead in the water without a tablet. I don't have the money right now to buy another iPad or a high dollar tablet, so I started researching for an alternative brand of tablet that would suit my needs. I just needed a basic tablet to read books, surf the web, watch videos, check email, etc. I did a ton of research and I think I almost went blind from the amount of reviews I read. LOL!! I strongly feel that reading reviews for electronics is essential, because quality control can be lacking with overseas products and you want to make sure you get the quality you're paying for. When I found the Vankyo brand, I really liked that they made many different models of the MatrixPad. It was also a plus in their favor that almost all of their models had 4+ star reviews. Now onto the actual tablet. The S21 does everything I need and much more. After taking it out of the box, I immediately charged it, which was super quick. The set-up was a breeze and took 5-10 minutes. It was ready to go with all of the Google apps already preloaded. It has quality construction and is only 21 ounces. Since the main thing I need this for is reading textbooks, it's really nice that it's so lightweight. The screen is bright with nice crisp colors and great contrast. The 10.1-inch screen is plenty big for reading books. I really like the reading mode. I can tell a big difference between reading on my iPad and reading with this tablet. My eyes typically start to fatigue after being on my iPad for more than an hour or two, but I'm able to be on this tablet almost double the time before I can feel any eye strain. It has good touch screen responsiveness that's equal to any other Android I've used. The apps load much quicker than my old iPad and I haven't encountered any lag time. It's easy to switch between apps, which is great when I'm taking notes during class and need to flip over to the book or to search for something. The best part is how long the battery lasts. I'm able to use it for around 8 hours straight while using it for reading, taking notes and watching videos. That's around 2 hours longer than my old iPad. I'm extremely happy that I choose a tablet from Vankyo. You get a high quality product at a fabulous price. It's worth every penny.

Being sent over to where the hurricanes hit, I was hesitant about taking my expensive tablets with me. we were going to have to take tons of pictures and review them, and just wanted something I was not worried about when it broke. This however is one of my new favorite tablets. the best part is, with it being 10 in, I can put it into my keyboard doc, and it works just like a computer. Most of the tablets that I have, the power plug is at the bottom. with it being at the bottom, you cannot charge it while you're using it in this. well, this one has a USB C at the top! Obviously you are not going to have 20 megapixel pictures, but surprisingly the pictures are of good quality. Good enough that you can use it to take pictures of damage and be able to figure out what it is. I used this for 2 days without having to charge it, and I am very confident that it will hold up for quite a while. The only thing I am looking for is a glass screen protector, because I know I will be using this more often now. I did get a case at Walmart once they opened up, and it's just a generic 10-in tablet case that works just fine. Also, this is not a slow tablet, but not a super fast $600 tablet. Ran very well as far as speed, and I was able to install all the apps that I needed for work and right through the Google play store period very happy that I got this, and one of my colleagues actually picked up the same one because he liked mine. Also, this is not made of plastic! It is very tough.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I purchased this tablet because it had a 10in screen and I did not want to spend a whole lot of cash. After using it for a few days, I am contempt with the speed and picture quality. I use this mainly for videos, brain games, and surfing the web.I like the 2gb of ram and type C port the tablet has. It's able to have multiple programs open and still run smooth.I would say the picture from the camera is not high def but enough to take pictures of documents and quick access pictures.I did not see any other tablet that is in this price range that runs smooth and acts exactly like my phone.

Great 10 inch tablet. More then expected for the price. I have added a SD card. The spot to put the card is on top under the little flap it was hard to find at first ( my only complaint). Using multiple apps at once is an ease no problems with freezing so far. Set up is easy with clear instructions on what to do. Tablet came almost fully charged and then i used it till it completely died. Took about 2 hours to fully charge up I had kept the power off during charge. I feel it charges better and my charge/ battery lasts longer. Tablet is light weight and a pretty blue thats stands out so I know its mine. Does not come with stylus but one can be used on the screen with no problems.. Very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this if needed for pleasure or business this is the tablet for you.

I wanted a android tablet but did not want to pay a huge amount. Started looking at tablets on Amazon and came across VANKYO MatrixPad S21. It had the features that I liked. Received today and I am pleasantly surprised at screen quality and ease of use. Has nice weight and does not feel cheaply built.
