3 Pack Desmond DP-25 25mm QR Lens/Camera Body Plate Arca Compatible P25 P-25

The D-ring broke when attempting to affix the plate to a camera. One of the thread was malformed, so it wouldn't thread into the camera properly.

I have a handful of small, light cameras (Holga, Minolta Hi-Matic 7s, ONDU 6x12 pinhole) that I like to use with my tripod (Induro BHL-1 ballhead). Buying full size mounts for each camera would be both overkill and expensive. These little guys work perfectly for my needs and don't stick out past the narrow bodies. I did try to use one on my 70D with a 70-200 f/2.8 and, while it did hold, it wasn't as stable as I would have liked. Obviously if you have heavy gear you should choose a larger plate. I swap camera often when I'm out shooting and I've yet to run into any problems with them. My ballhead takes standard Arca-Swiss plates, so I imagine they would work with any Arca-Swiss ballhead.

Not much to say about these. They work and seem quality made, so that's good enough. I've mounted them on my camera and every lens that has the screw socket so now I don't have to move one plate around.
