I used this product for a spot of house-painting. I am 73 years of age and don't like heights and ladders at all and three steps are my limit. I felt completely safe on this set of ladders with hand-rails in front and on the sides. There was a tiny non-alignment on the two front-legs but not enough to matter and in any case that can be easily sorted by slightly padding one of the legs.Thoroughly recommended ... a super buy.
