This filter is comparable to the OEM. I have a 2018 Murano and I purchased one from AutoZone that was flimsy and not at all like the OEM. This filter is sturdy and carbon activated. The installation for the air cabin filter for Nissans are always a pain because of the angle but you just have to have patience and keep crimping and squeezing. It took me about 15 minutes but I managed. The one from AutoZone took less time because it's so flimsy it's easy to push in but I'd rather go with this filter even if it took a bit longer to install. Better than paying the dealer a ridiculous amount. They tried to charge me $150 to change both filters and I did it myself for $15. The engine filter is even easier. Just YouTube it.

I returned this. This filter does not have the same surface area as the OEM. See picture.Same hight, width and thickness but fewer folds. That means less surface area.If the filter material has the same airflow resistance as OEM, then the result would be less airflow.If the resistance is less so standard airflow can be achieved, that would mean less filtering.Surface area is key with filters. I am going to stick with OEM.

Filter worked great and seemed like a quality product however trying to install it in our 2015 Infiniti we totally destroyed it and had to grab another filter from a local store. That is no fault of this company or product. I'm no vehicle engineer but Nissan could work on the placement of that filter slot, the location is a nightmare to reach and if you need to replace yours I highly suggest removing the glovebox to save yourself some time and frustration.

Just buy it, don't even bother finishing this review. But since you've read this far, this filter is light years better than the OEM filter the Infiniti dealership wants to charge you $119 to install. Very happy with this purchase.

Installed in a 2016 Murano. It is best to watch Youtube to understand the challenges involved in replacing the filter yourself. It really wasn't that bad and it saved a ton of money. The filter appeared well-built, but it will be a couple of years before I change it again to know how well it truly performed.

I absolutely was worried about the filter my vehicle was using at the time of me needing to replace it...so what better way to ensure that it was the safeswand healthiest option than to go with this one? Especially the bacterial trapping nature of it, definitely needed this during the recent epidemic that's plagued the world. Thanks for bringing this to market!*Although I don't rideshare with anyone or drive for Uber/Lift...this might bring piece of mind to the passengers of those who do or those who are driven around...

Great product. Fits perfectly. Pain to install, but installation issue has nothing to do with product. Installation issue is the fault of Nissan design/engineers. Watch YouTube videos for installation help. Good luck! Much better than paying the dealership $50 to change out

Like the title says, it dits perfectly in our 2014 Infinity QX60.
