Koomus Metal Plates for Pro-M Smartphone Magnetic Car Mount Series

So, I installed a heavy duty brass latch on my door. However, the way it mounted put the latch on narrow piece of wood between French doors that was not really secure. So, I needed a 2" x 3" thin piece of Stainless Steel to mount from door to narrow wood strip that would allow the latch to work, yet also anchor it to the metal left door for strength. See attached photo, it was PERFECT solution, esp since I had mistakenly drilled the 4 holes in the door before realizing the latch would not work. It covered up the holes AND secured the latch to both narrow wood strip AND the metal left door!! And it looks great!

Lost my original metal plate from Koomus phone holder, got those as replacement. They are exactly as expected - same plates. I place them between phone and TPU case using tiny blobs of blue-tack for adhesion - for ease of later removal. Plates have enough metal for reliable magnetic effect even through TPU case. If plate is placed at the bottom of (pixel or samsung) phone, wireless charging still works, and phone does not fall from the mount either.

I've used the non-adhesive Koomus inserts for my phone/case combo for years, and it's been perfect.Now I wanted to travel with my new Fire tablet, which is most convenient for audio right now. I was concerned the tablet would be too heavy to stay in place, but the magnet holds securely. Really love this brand!Traveled all day with the tablet mounted to my dash (using their in-CD mount) and it was perfect. Of course it's heavier, and tended to move to end up resting the lower edge on my dashboard for support. But that isn't the magnet's fault. It worked like a champ.

Needed to just replace the magnet and this worked perfectly!

Great product, the magnets are really strong to hold your phone in place. The only reason I have it 4 stars is because the paint on the top coat starts chipping and it looks kinda tacky. But it does what it’s supposed to very well.

Great for my LG V30. I was able to place this on my cell phone case at the base. Works well with strong magnetic hold. No issues when driving of phone falling from magnet. I say that solely because of the placement of the magnet. I only placed it at the base because I wanted to still be able to use wireless charging. For the record, wireless charging does still work even with this magnet. I don't have to take off my case when charging either. I recommend this product!

These magnets are the best! I drive a prickup truck so I always have a rough ride and my phone always fall of the magnets. I tried several types and never worked. This magnets are the best! It doesn't matter how many bumps you go through your phone will stay put! Thank you!

I love using these metal plates rather than the ones that comes with my magnet mounts.Since these seems to have a thicker metal place, whatever magnet I used, it would take a better hold with the magnet.I WOULD RECOMMEND THESE!Plan to buy more to replace all of my other metal plates.Only downside is that since they are a little thicker, they might not slip inside a case like some are supposed to do.So I use the adhesive that comes with the plates and they are strong and reliable.
