Braun BNC008BK-RC LCD Quartz Alarm Clock

This travel alarm clock does everything it sets out to do perfectly. It's a bedside travel alarm clock.- It's compact. Admittedly it was smaller than I expected, but that's on me for not looking at the dimensions beforehand. That being said, this is a travel alarm clock and with that in mind I think the size is great.- It doesn't light up the room. A problem with many alarm clocks I've had in the past is that the digits will be illuminated too brightly creating a type of night light, or worse, in the room when I'm trying to sleep. This doesn't have that problem at all. Some of the negative reviews didn't like that this in turn made it hard to see during the day, but I like this feature and it was one of the primary reasons I went with this one. If I want to know what time it is at night I can press the button on the top to illuminate the screen for ten seconds.- The design is fantastic. It just looks good and functions simply and well. Nothing feels cheap and the controls are all very easy and intuitive. I especially like how easy it is to turn on and off the alarm.

These are super easy to use. Small, clean design. Simple controls. Battery lasts a long time. The clock is silent. The radio controlled timekeeping adds a little bit of complexity to initial setup (you must pick a time zone), but it's no big deal. I had to read the manual for that part. Set it and forget it. I wish it had a seconds display. Then I could use it to set my watch when needed.

I like the clock, the only negative is that it is easy for the top alarm button to be turned on accidentally so it could start beeping while in your luggage, but that's not a big deal. Overall I like the functionality and size and it receives the world time signals very well

The radio controlled feature is off by default and must be turned on from the back panel by selecting the appropriate country mode. After that, the time zone within the country is set by selecting the appropriate zone using the volume key and LCD indicator on the face of the clock, for example, US Pacific Time, US Mountain Time, etc. It's all spelled out in the instructions. Can't vouch for the longevity yet - just got it February 2022. It weighs 66 grams with the included AA battery installed.

Works, pretty small, and really dum even with the lights on.

Didn't work; forgot to return in time. Could set up easily, but never kept the correct time by a couple of hours a day. Batteries were tested good and installed correctly. RETURN in time if yours doesn't work...

The clock is quality and well-made by Braun of Germany. It should be called watch clock, what it means is that it is light weight and small for travelers, not for home. But I can be used in bedroom, kitchen, office. It works well as it advertised !

This thing is great. Syncs with the clock signal fine in California. Don't know why all clocks don't come with this feature by now.
