Hold up to daily abuse, and stay frozen for a very long time.
I work a 12+ hour shift daily, driving a truck without air conditioning. I put one of these large frozen packs on the bottom, front, and back, then the smaller frozen packs on both sides and one in the middle, and on top. Everything in my bag stays frosty all day long. I even worked a 13-hour day, and when I came home to unpack my lunch bag, the bags were still frozen. they take a beating and keep on working. I love these thin frozen pouches. of course, I didn't fill them as full as they recommended, I wanted to keep them thin for my lunch bag. not a cooler. I would highly recommend these for anything you need to keep super cold for many hours. much lighter than Ice. and a whole lot lighter.

Life saver
I was amazed how long they held their cold temps and how solidly they keep their “ice” feel. Right before a trip in my boat its under counter refrig died. I had my wife in charge of changing out two ice packs from the freezer into the refrig and putting the two from the refrig back into the freezer. Using 4 the refrig stayed very cool 24/7. Used the refrig for veggies and stuff that didn’t need deep cold. Worked great for the entire three trip.

Good product; Good price!
These don't come with any instructions, and you'll be a little surprised with them at first because you have to add water and judge the right amount, etc. Again, no instructions anywhere. However, once filled and frozen, these are the best ice packs I've ever used, and in my Yeti back pack, they lasted more than 36 hours. Still partly frozen and functional at 48 hours. They are great for tailgating coolers which are constantly opened and closed.

Not Magic Ice...
Stays cold - although nowhere as long as described. But it's still a simple ice pack with no extra cooling powers. Mistakenly thought that with an extended cooling time, I would need fewer ice packs. The two large ones I purchased did not begin to do the job.

Awesome product!!
Awesome!! Shipped some perishable items in cooler box and even after the 3 days traveling to their destination, they were still frozen solid. Will definitely buy again!!

Awesome for home or travel
Great for midsize lunchboxes/bags (see dimensions). Keeps things cold in a well insulated bag. The best feature of the fill-n-freeze variety is that we pack them in luggage without the water added when traveling to a hot destination. When there, fill n freeze so your day pack has “ice” to keep your snacks and drinks cold. When leaving, we leave them behind so hopefully housekeeping or the next person using the hotel room/freezer section of fridge will scoop them up and keep using them. One less stop when we arrive at our destination (to buy reusable cold packs) and no FAA hassles. These have not leaked nor punctured. Follow the directions about how much water to add.

Very Cold, but Thaw Average
I live in AZ and leave my very well insulated (7"L X 6"W X 6"H) cooler in my black car at 95F outside and 150F inside. So it is not an easy environment. I use two of these and they fit perfectly in my cooler/Bag. One at the bottom, one at the top. Food and drinks in between, with everything packed tight. These will stay about 50% frozen after 4 hours in the car (lunch time). They are very cold while frozen, which is nice. When I get back to my car 4hrs later to go home, they are completely thawed. Prior to these I used ice in bags, packed the same way and to be honest, although the food and drinks are not as cold (still pretty cold and not enough to spoil), the ice lasts longer, even thru the end of the day. For me, I don't feel these achieved what I wanted. I was hoping to have them still be still be mostly frozen at the end of my work day so I could have cold drinks on the way home. With that said, they still keep my lunch cold, so they do work, but I can do that with regular ice. My situation is extreme heat, but still. If it can't beat ice, it wasn't worth the money, because Ice is free.

Easy to prepare and everything I'd hoped they'd be.
I used these on a 36-hour road trip and they held up great. They can indeed hard-freeze items left in direct contact but they didn't create any real problems for me. Filling them up was easy enough. They do require two full days in the freezer to get to full power. You might consider shaping them a bit before they freeze solid. Mine bulge just a bit in the middle. A light object on top as it laid on its side (when first freezing) could have given me a bit narrower profile? If I have any reason to let one thaw I'll try this for more cooler packing/fit options.

Purchased just over 2 years ago and used them first time over the hot summer in hotel room no fridge.. used with rigid Titan Cool bag, food and drink stayed cold for 48hours before the ice packs started to soften by which time we were on the way home. In December fridge was full and I used packs to store chilled food before Christmas Day.

These are phenomenal. So much colder and last longer than traditional ice packs. Wouldn't go back to regular ice packs again.

I brought a brand new one of these with me on my trip to Europe. Used it over there in a cooler bag when we went to the beach. Was very good and stayed cold. When I left, I just left it in the freezer for the next person to use.
