Garofalo Gluten Free Linguine Italian Dried Pasta, 400g - Suitable for Coeliac and Vegan diets (Pack of 1)

Delicious linguini, my partner has recently found out she needs gluten free so I’ve supported her and started having it too, slightly higher calories than your average pasta however so tasty!Note: the packet says cook for 11 minutes I doubled the time as it just was too hard, I cooked for 22 minutes and make sure salt is in the water before cooking, this will now be a staple in our cupboard

Great pasta. Cooked evenly with no clumping. Had a fab al dente texture and a lovely flavour. Although it’s a shame not to be able to just pop to the shop and buy it just anywhere, I’ll definitely be ordering the linguine again. This is the 4th type of their pasta I’ve had and I’m never disappointed. Best GF pasta I’ve had.

Not too easy to get hold of gluten free items when you live in the rural countryside. Two packs of this worked out considerably cheaper than my nearest supermarket that sells gluten free linguine. Great value!

I like that I can’t really tell much difference between this linguine and normal linguine that I used to buy. I’ve had a few repeat monthly purchases on S&S. Probably not the cheapest, but we do like it a lot. One pack of 400g is enough for 3 meals for the two of us.I would like to see more Garofalo GF pasta available on Amazon, I’ve seen a few other shapes in our local farm shop, needless to say at much higher prices.Edit: must confess I have looked again for other pasta shapes and there’s now plenty available on Amazon

Since going gluten free, I haven't really enjoyed the alternative pastas available in UK supermarkets.This one has a nice taste and texture. When it is drained, there is no horrible smell from the cooking water that puts me off other gluten free pastas.Test for readiness, I wouldn't like to overcook this. The next day the texture had softened a bit and wasn't as nice. Overall, I'm really pleased and will buy this again.

In a household with only one person that eats gluten free, things can be difficult for the others that live with them.... Do you cook 2 lots of everything (double the washing up) or just a gluten free option and everyone eats the same thing? The problem with the second option is that generally gluten free food products don't taste the same or the texture can be unpleasant to those who normally eat gluten. Garofalo Gluten Free Linguine is a really good option with both flavour and texture being so close to its gluten rich equivalent that you can forget you are eating something that is gluten free. Recommended highly this is the best gluten free pasta we have had.
