Fits Well, Looks Good, Offers Good Comfort
I bought this for my husband's car - Subaru Outback. It was large enough to fit the generously sized seat, was easy to install, and looks good. It has offered great comfort for long drives and is especially cool in the summer months. We've noticed that for winter, you lose the benefit of the heated seats. So he uses it for longer driving times in the winter, and otherwise leaves it off. Good value for the money: has held up well and looks good. No breaking or slipping.

Now I can see why they are so popular overseas
Good quality, hand woven and sewn with like hundred grade fishing line 3 times. You are really supporting actual people with this purchase. My job as a delivery driver puts a lot of pain on my back which has slipped disc. This helps with circulation and posture, the top part is great about going in between your shoulder blades which is where my arthritis is. It definitely slid around at first and some of the string ends popped out from where they were tucked but all together it's held really well considering how much I'm coming in and out of my car. This is the best way to tie them btw.

Comfort with the Old School Style.
There is no denying the comfort of these old school style beaded seat covers... I have had these in all my VW Vans and love them. This one was purchased because the leather driver seat in my 2011 Audi Q5 is showing some wear. And it definitely adds a little "Hippy Style" to what otherwise is a popular upper middle class ride for sure. I guess I've reached Yuppie Status now...This one is a little strange because it only attaches at the head rest. I doesn't seem like enough but it does work. It would be easy enough add a couple ties I suppose but I have yet to do it.Dirt, food, dust, and mostly sand for me does fall between the beads.. So you'll want to keep it cleaned. That may be the reason for the "headrest attachment only" design. I'm a little concerned it may not protect as well as a real seat cover. In fact it might even cause just as much wear as no cover? But I'll keep it for now for the coolness factor...

Guaranteed to fail or your money back!
I've a few of these specific ones, and a couple other more expensive brands. They're made to fail, whether you pay the cheap price or opt for a pricier option, the seemingly standard use of that low strength plastic wire does them in every time.I love beaded seat covers, they work at reducing sweat for longer drives (for me); they're comfortable to sit on.I come back to these because the price point. You may get lucky and they last a couple years or you could be replacing them in a couple weeks or days or a month. Having things in back pockets or leaving things on the seats that could catch the string and cause it stress are best avoided. You have to get creative to rig it up on seats with out detachable head rests, but it's doable.I haven't found the more expensive ones to last any longer or have a significantly higher quality to justify the price.Should you buy them? They're like a dollar scratch ticket, cheap enough to take a flyer on and hey you might get lucky and they last a year or longer. And if they don't they're cheap enough to take another flyer at some other point, after you get over being angry that they broke.

2017 Workmanship Deteriorated From 2016
Update: April 2017. -the beaded seat cushion we bought July 2016 is still in great shape. We like it so much that we bought another. Unfortunately the one we just received was definitely not as well made. Beads were very loose and string ends hanging out all over. We got rhe same brand as before but it came from different vendor. In line with current practice, the vendor sent emails asking if everything was ok & to let them know if there was a problem. I responded that we were disappointed that it wasn't made as well as the first one and wanted to return it. The seller then gave me the number to Amazon's customer service & told that since Amazon fulfilled the order, we needed to contact them. Not surprising, Amazon's customer services was great & took care of everything. Meanwhile I keep getting emails from seller asking me to write a review for the product. Here it is! No longer recommended.July 2016: We have leather car seats and although they look great, they are very hot in the summer don’t seem to breathe. I’ve tried other types of car seat cushions and they weren’t comfortable or kept shifting underneath. The wood beaded seat is the best. We spent 12 hours in the car one day and 6 hours the next and I never got uncomfortable. We have a 2014 Hyundai Sonata and the beaded seat fit fine. We did not tie the strings that came with it, just put the posts for the headrest through the beads and it stays in place. I definitely recommend it.
