Starkline Standard Electric Poultry Netting 42" x 164' (11/42/3) Electric Chicken Fencing for Backyards, Homesteads, Farms, and Ranches

This would be the 8th or 9th hotwire fencing I've purchased from Starkline. Most are for our hogs, so we can move them around the farm and keep them on pasture.The last two I purchased were for the garden and bees. The chickens LOVE to destroy my garden and the llamas love to kick my bee hive over, so I decided to protect them both.Set up is easy. Solar charger boxes are easy to attach and move around. The oldest fencing I have is 5 years and still going strong. They don't fade in the sun and haven't blown over with hurricane. 10/10 highly recommended this product.

The fence was receive as advertised. Holding up very well. Will buy this fence again.

Not sturdy at all, the metal spikes bend so easily/break off. Lame product. Needs anchors. Conductivity sucks. Do yourself the favor get the premier one at the same price better product.

I purchased this fencing to let me chickens free range a bit. I did not electrify the fence and on two occasions raccoons gnawed through the fencing and let them selves into the chicken yard.

This netting is great for it's intended use - very durable. I also use one around my garden to keep unwanted critters out of my garden.

My friend purchased another brand of this type of fence and it was awesome. So I got this one and finally got around to put it around my garden. The fence does not tighten up between each staked in post. They droop and the middle energized part touches the ground and you can hear little zaps as it grounds out. I think this fence was just poorly manufactured and the posts bend like rubber when they should be made of something solid like fiberglass. I also witnessed a rabbit of decent size jump right through one of the squares of the fence while it was energized. I purchased two of these units just under $500 and just missed the return window. I thought I would share my experience so others wouldn't lose like I did.

Easily installed.

I have purchased several of these fences from Starkline. This most recent model I purchased had black PVC plastic stakes. These are extremely flimsy, to the point of being useless. However, the white stakes/poles version is incrediblely sturdy. The white ones are more expensive, but worth it.
