DeWalt tools are incredibly well-made, with great materials and an excellent price point. A fantastic purchase for anyone looking to invest in a single, reliable set of tools.

this triple-header set is great. they are all solid and comfortable to use.but, the absolute topper is the needle nose pliers. i have a couple pairs of fancy german ones costing three times as much, and various others that are quality but....they are all in the shade now. this is one of my favorite hand tools Ever. Who'd have thought it?the DeWalt's will pick splinters out, and grip tiny little ends of broken staples sticking out of something, and they dont bend or deflect like many others. the gripping power of the very tip is amazing and precise. the size fits well in my largish hands. they are holding up perfectly with daily use, and feel like they will last a long time.the side cutters and lineman pliers in the set are just as solid, though not as remarkable in their performance.the only caveat i have found with any of them relates to my occasional careless grip, when i shift hand a little bit while closing on something and nip myself in the squared off inner sides of the closing hinge. but that's not the tools fault. its a reminder to Be A Lert. they are designed with enough material to resist large forces, and that determines the structure. without that mass they probably wouldn't be so robust.as i hinted above: Come for the set. Stay for the needle noses.

These are great tools.

It's been a while since I bought new pliers (15 years +) and it was time to replace my old rusty ones. As one of my favorite brands, I went with them because I rarely had any issues with their tools. These feel and look well made, have nice grips and cut through wires easily. Not a fan of the lock mechanism that always gets in my way but I understand it's purpose. Maybe it's something I have to get used to

Did I really "need" another set of pliers? Yes these are very high quality and comfortable in the hand. Not sure why they need a locking lever like garden shears, they are not spring loaded to open, but it does keep them closed in the tool bag.The compound feature is no joke.Had a DIY project to install cable railing. The 1/8th inch multi-stand steel cable needs the excess length trimmed (times 40 cables). I have two much larger Dewalt standard cutters, also new and sharp (the 10" Diagonal and the 11" fencing plier). They both took extreme double hand pressure to cut these cables. This compound diagonal cutters above, cut the cables like butter. I only needed one hand and about half the pressure. I was actually shocked how easy the Diagonals cut. This set is going to be the next gift I send to friends who do things for themselves. Small enough for the everyday bucket boss tool bag, but stronger than their heavier bulkier big brothers.
