No more trying to unbend my finger after vacuuming! Just flick the lever - on, flick again - off, easy as can be. To read the enclosed instructions you need a microscope, and the pictures are no help, but it still took under five minutes to get this thing properly seated and operating. It takes a bit of maneuvering to install properly, but it's not very complicated. Make sure to not push the unit too far onto the vacuum as that will leave the unit always turned on. I cant talk to longevity, but the unit sufficiently grabs on so that it does not wobble or move. I'm very glad I purchased this. As other commenters have noted, Dyson should design their vacuums with a simple on/off switch. But, this unit is a cheap, easy and effective fix for that design flaw.

Just flip the red switch down, and it holds the trigger button for you.I primarily bought this to make dusting and cleaning hands-free. I saw an influencer use this attachment along with a shoulder strap on their Dyson, allowing them to dust their entire house effortlessly, what a genius idea! 🤯 Inspired by that, I now have this attachment on both of my Dysons, and it has made hands-free cleaning so much easier!

I purchased this Dyson trigger lock accessory in August 2024 to reduce finger strain. It worked great at first, snapped on easily and did exactly what it was supposed to.Unfortunately, as of July 2025, the lock completely broke off during normal use. If you’re looking for a long-term solution, this might not be it. You're very likely to have to purchase another one eventually. The concept is great, but the durability just isn’t there.

My wrist was killing me from having to constantly hold down the trigger on my Dyson, and this little clamp is a total lifesaver! Super easy to attach and it holds the power button down without me having to grip it the whole time. Makes vacuuming so much easier and less painful. Comes with two in the pack, which is a nice bonus. Definitely worth it if your hand or wrist gets sore using the Dyson!

Wow, what a simple yet genius idea! Just used this for the first time, and man did my cramping forefinger fall in love! One thing I both love and hate about my Dyson V15 is the spring trigger. This little piece slides onto the guard and a flip of the lock holds said trigger down without you having to continuously hold it. Really, Dyson, with all of the engineering marvels your vacuums possess, this is a huge, tiny little attachment to overlook! I purchased the 2-pack based on some reviews saying the longevity isn’t great, but honestly if they only last a couple months each, they’re worth the investment!

Meaning if you don't push it in far enough the lever won't hit the power button.Because it so hard to get on you end up pushing it in to far and it is very hard to get off or in the correct spotUltimately the product works (my first one broke) but it's not perfectProduct feels cheap

This is so easy to install. Just slide it over the trigger. It works great and I'm so glad I got it.
