True Lime 500ct

I love this product. The flavor is very close to a fresh lime. Packets are easy to take with or keep in a bag or glove box. Dissolves easily. Bulk box of 500 is economical. Very low cal. I use this mostly to flavor water but it works in recipes as well (salsa when I don't have fresh) mixed with sugar for a tart glass rim for magaritas, for coconut rice putting or creme brulee.

I was introduced to these packets in a restaurant, and I contemptuously sniffed that it "wasn't fresh"., but I took it home to try, in case I needed lemon in an emergency for a recipe. BOY, WAS I WRONG. I have been put on a salt restricted diet, but LOVE salt. True Lemon TO THE RESCUE! These lemon crystals will pump up the flavor and add tangy, tart zippiness on just about anything I put them on; -in my soups, stews, chicken, humus and spreads, without the salt! This product is sooo useful and tastes terrific and genuine. The orange is delicious, too, and true to taste. And I don't miss the salt so much when I use True Lemon. Try it!

Okay, on my second case of 500 True Lemon packets in less than a year, so yeah I guess I like it. I used to keep fresh lemons in the house, but the packets have proven to be a better value and wont dry out in a day in the fridge like produce, or just taste "off" like bottled lemon juice concentrates.I found these lemon packets helped me kick the soft drink habit in favor of a nice clean refreshing change without the sugar or chemical sweeteners. Interesting to note that although the company doesn't broadcast it, True Lemon is just crystalized lemon (citric acid, lemon oil, and non GMO lemon juice) and still contains the comparable level of vitamin C as the fresh fruit. They store and travel well making it easy to dump a packet or two into a water bottle, unsweet iced tea, or even plain bottled seltzer on the go. At home, I've also found them to be a shelf stable substitution for fresh lemons to add bright citrus flavors to cut rich dishes like risottos, or in other recipes calling for fresh lemon juice.Finally, while I haven't tried it, I imagine this would lend itself to being a great long term citrus storage solution for SHTF/disaster preparing if stored in an air tight container with a few moisture absorbers.

Absolutely love ordering these in the 500 ct packets, I've been using these for years, they have no sugar! Just Crystalized lemon, they taste great, there's no color, each packet is equal to one lemon wedge, i use these in place of squeezed lemon, just add water, i use them on my fish, if I want lemonade, I just add sugar. Great way to stay hydrated, make water taste so much better

I only like water with flavoring in the water! For years I have brighten bottles of lemon juice and utilized that! It was super expensive and worked but when I found out about true packets I was super excited! We started off by buying the lemon packets and we fell in love with it! The packet is perfect size for a bottle of water! It’s natural ingredients helps with fresh was of the product! No sugar added and no calorie I would say that’s a win! We love this product so much we have tried every flavor orange, lime, lemon, and grapefruit! We have put them on auto ship and we have saved so much money! Amazing product can’t say enough about it!

"I’m sensitive to the taste of plain water, so I usually don’t drink much, but adding this makes me drink a lot more. Drinking lemon water has improved my skin and seems to help my circulation. Even my kids drink water easily when I mix this for them. I love that it helps me stay hydrated. It’s also convenient to carry, so I take it on trips and mix it in water throughout the day.

I love the “True” citrus products and purchase them frequently. The taste is pure and fresh and the packets are convenient. However, be aware that this bulk pack of 500 is not what you may think it is. It certainly wasn’t what I was expecting.You see, normally, the “True” products are sold in convenient tube-shaped packets that you rip open and mix into your water to enhance the taste… it’s a drink mix containing 3 grams of product which makes a tasty beverage containing about 10 calories a serving. It contains no artificial sweeteners, it’s made from real citrus and has a non-GMO pedigree. No complaints there. That’s the product I love!This bulk pack is sold in the same way… as “water enhancer” flavor packets. The verbiage and some of the photos they use are virtually the same as those used for their other products, the ones I’ve been buying in much smaller quantities. But they are actually two similar – and at the same time also very different - products.Instead of 3 grams of product in each packet, this bulk pack features 500 packets, each containing less than a gram of crystalized lemon… just .8 grams in each packet. So, if your intent is to flavor your water, you’ll have to use three or four times as many packets to get the same punch as you’ve been getting from the standard packets of “True Lemon” drink mix. The bulk packets are more like a packet of sugar in size, and are sugar-free and free of artificial sweeteners, too… whereas the other product comes in a longer tube-shaped packet. The packets in this bulk pack provide – essentially – lemon flavor equivalent to just a squeeze of lemon…. one lemon wedge. The drink mix packets, those tube-shaped packets sold in smaller quantities, are more like getting an entire lemon or more in your beverage. And it’s a full-flavored drink mix.Now, should I have known this? Maybe. They do disclose in the listing that these packets are .8 grams. (But I’m an American and terrible at math. Besides, before I sat down to write this review, I had no idea how many grams were in the standard drink mix product.) On the other hand, they do call this a “drink mix” on the product page, which is how they market the other product and which, technically, this isn’t. How was I supposed to know that they expanded their product line to include a different product with virtually the same branding?All that being said, it’s still a good product. It’s just not the product that I thought I was buying.

I am newly introduced to these citrus crystals...now have theminall flavors andlove the bulk shakers too. I use them in drinks and salads, and for other cooking. Bravo.
