Slightly Stretched
Looks like it's been a bit pre-stretched, like if it were old. Not bad, and definitely still has tons of stretch left in it.

Great dust mask fix
I had a good quality 3M dust mask that had stretched out elastic cords. I replaced them with this product and the mask is as good as new. The mask did have one end of the cord molded into the plastic head gear which I would assume is to force you to buy a whole new mask. I just tied off the new cord which worked perfectly.
