Bright but obviously can’t fix wiring issues
Very bright, too bad I had a bad gauge cluster and not a burnt bulb.

Fits BMW headlight switch ... with some modification
This fits the headlight switch of my 1997 BMW 3 series ( E36 ) (and maybe other models too). But it was just a hair too long and too wide, so I filed a little off the bottom and the round part at the top to get it to fit without binding. But it works and now my switch is illuminated again. Remember these are polarity sensitive, so you need to test it before you reassemble everything; if it does not work, pop it out, turn it around and try it again.

Make sure they are oriented the right way to light
Used to replace the bulbs in the Instrument Panel Gauge Cluster of a 2000 Toyota Camry. The car failed smog because the engine had warning codes which was not evident because the OEM engine warning bulb was burned out. I had to replace the bulb, remedy the engine codes and bring back to smog check. I bought the pack with enough bulbs to replace all the bulbs since I had the cluster out already and insured any other bad bulbs were replaced. Also had to buy a few of a different bulb for the gauges.Tip: don’t assume some bulbs do not work. They must be inserted into the socket in a certain orientation to light up. I first tested each bulb in a socket that was known to have power when the headlight switch is turned on in the parking light position (like the “P” setting in the shift position lights), to find which orientation the bulbs have to be inserted to work. If in the wrong orientation, you have to insert them 180 degrees and recheck. Once you know which side must be inserted facing “up” to work, mark that side and go about replacing all the bulbs. Many of these bulbs are for warning lights which only turn on when triggered, so replacing all insures there are no bad bulbs left in the panel.

Bases not compatible w 2007 Ford Escape
The bases that came w the bulbs won't work with 2007 Ford Escape so I just used the bulbs. But, once I pushed the led bulb into the base it widened the contacts inside the base and now the old style bulbs won't work because the contacts between the base and old bulbs don't contact. When only a few of the new bulbs lit up, I fiddled w it and found that I had to make sure the new led bulbs weren't pushed in too far into the base. If it still wasn't lighting up, I rotated the base 180 degrees and that seemed to work. The bases should work both ways but mine were finicky. The bulbs are bright but don't give off light in all directions like the old bulbs did so I have areas that are more dim than they should be. I wouldn't get these again but they're working ok for now. To go back to the old style bulbs I'll have to get new bases also.
