KAVU Sidewinder Crossbody Bag With Adjustable Rope Strap - Jewel Pop

I love this bag. I’m a huge Kavu fan and have quite a few styles and prints. They just have a great knack for making useful bags. The colors are always amazing. This purse is no exception. The teal color is as pictured. I love that this bag expands (for those days that you need a little more space). The pockets are all well placed and organized. I’m pretty tough on my Kavu bags and I’ve never had any issues with them showing wear and tear. They are very tough sturdy bags that I take to the grocery store or on a hike.

When the Kavu purse arrived I transferred items from my once-beautiful, but now tattered, Vera Bradley purse. I was surprised how similar the patterns looked when placed side-by-side. It was not intentional, just a funny consistency in what colors and patterns are attractive to me. I was happy that the zipper that allows the purse to expand is pale pink, not peach or coral. I couldn’t tell by the image on Amazon’s website, and the description did not mention the color.The purse is not very wide, even with the zipper opened up to allow for expansion. I think that is great for me, since I tend to put too much in my purse, and it gets heavy. The limited space will keep me from overloading. The Kavu has enough pockets to let me separate keys and sunglasses from cellphone and credit cards. The light blue/aqua interior makes it easy to see what is at the bottom of my purse. The only convenience I miss is a dedicated pen slot. I am still analog in this very digital world, and I like having a pen readily available. I am looking forward to this canvas material holding up for several years. I am not a purse switcher. I use the same purse for almost all occasions, so it gets used non-stop. The strap and zipper are also very strong and secure. I am very happy with my purchase.

I love this bag much more than I thought I would. I can easily fit my water bottle and small coffee thermos in the large interior snap space - and a stuff-it rain coat and iPad with the space extended; my phone and a small notepad in the velcro pocket; coin purse and small wallet in the exterior zip pocket; lipstick, pens and penlight in the interior zip pocket; and house and car keys, sunglasses and cigarette case in the outside velcro flap pocket. I clip hook my office keys to the strap so they fall inside the bag but can be easily reached. It's perfect for my daily workplace essentials. The fabric is sturdy and practical and can be machine washed, plus it's stylish. The hardest thing is deciding which color/fabric to select.

This was bigger than I had expected. But...I'm not a crossbody bag girl; I ordered this because I'm sick of huge diaper bags. My first thought was senditbacksenditbacksenditback!But. It's a few days later and after trying this bag, trying another and goi g back to the old bags, I have decided I love this. I can fit in it:My coach checkbook wallet, a larger changing pad, wipes pouch and two diapers, thermos or kleen canteen 12oz insulated sippy, iPhone 6, my own 2x3x5 makeup pouch, ju ju be coin purse, extra large chapstick, 6oz lotion and honest spray sanitizer & iPad mini. I have room for more. Wow. I like it more each time I use it. I am still thinking to change two things: the keychain clip and the length of the strap. But, I have an industrial sewing machine so this isn't a huge problem. If I didn't, I would leave it and not give it another thought. I am vacillating between a four and five star rating. Also, these photos were taken with the bag zipped up. As I was taking the photos, I realized the bag had become more pliant...I think it seemed stiff and plastic-y initially. Ok. Five stars. I love it. Oh. Also, the houndstooth is a cream and black. My hubby said it looked used. Then he said it looked creepy. Then he said it was awesome. Ha! Basically, this keeps my tiny stuff compartmentalized, has room for my kids stuff, and I'm not weighed down carrying everything. I can keep a carbag for that.

I love kavu products. I finally had to retire my other kavu purse after sever years of rough use, and I bought this! It is bigger than the other purse I had. I can fit everything I need into this purse. It has nice roomy pockets. I love the beautiful pattern. I know it will last a long time, it is so sturdy and well made!

Bought this handbag to downsize what I can carry around and have been very happy with my purchase. I love all the pockets and how flat is lies against my hip. I especially like the rope strap. Gives the solid black bag that I ordered some extra pizazz. More roomy than I expected. I could get a lot more it in, but I'm trying to keep it light to save my shoulders. The canvas is nice and soft- not floppy and appears very durable. I like this one so much that I'm ordering a second Kavu bag tonight in a slightly smaller style in one of their many cute patterns.

It’s just the right amount of space. I like that I can fit a decent size wallet, keys, and cell phone in the main compartment. What I don’t like is the fact that I haven’t had the bag for too long and it picks up a lot of dust & lint easily. The Velcro on the front pocket already ripped and I am not amused by this. Overall the bag serves its purpose, but I would not purchase another one like it.

I just love everything about Kavu bags! I discovered them when I was visiting my daughter in Tennessee. My daughter already had one(the slingrope), needless to say, I HAD to get my grandgirl the mini one for her birthday & I HAD to have one!! : ) They are one of the best quality bags I've had the honor, for sure. You can FEEL the quality, and the prices are really very reasonable, especially here on Amazon. So I now have the wallet & this spring bag. My sling rope for fall/winter & this one for spring/summer, I just love it! When I walk into a store, I have to remind myself that I don't have to look for a purse, lol!
